  1. Jeni says:

Maybe you should get better female friends then. ;)

  2. hallie says:

it’s true. I only wish there were more of those scenes…

    • juke says:

True for you, maybe. I, personally, enjoy the action and comedy more than the shirtless scenes, but that’s not to say I don’t like those scenes, just not as much as the actual movie.

  3. Max Thunder says:

What I was wondering during those scenes is why do the people of Asgard wax their chest?

  4. Tae says:

Umm, kind of true. Actually, very true. I also liked all of his character development, the relationships with his family and how he learns to appreciate them. I liked the first fight scene, and I liked watching his friends fight, but I’ll agree that I was slightly less invested in fight scenes for various reasons (We already know he survives- he’s in the Avenger’s movie, sometimes the SFX for him flying around looked a little cheesy, but just in my opinion). Chis Hemsworth is just gorgeous though. So that scene was very nice =)
All in all, I loved the movie. I’ve seen it twice already and would happily go again.

  5. k says:

How many females yet to watch Thor, saw this and looked for the truth on the internet, ie went on imdb to see the actor?

    I know I did

    • Cool Teen Cynthia says:

Me! Haha, and I’m glad I did. YUM. ;)

In all honesty though, I think I would like the movie regardless of shirtlessness. I just have yet to watch it.

  6. ButMadNNW says:

The OP needs better (read: “geekier”) female friends. I’m a geek female and while I agree the shirtless Thor was easy on the eyes, I also loved the fight scenes and Loki and….well, most of the movie!

  7. knifewounds says:

what?! it was the only good bit of the movie. sheesh.

  8. durrrr says:

    It’s like a woman’s breasts but with a guy. :D

  9. Maz says:

Meh, as a woman (yes, a straight woman on the internet! Crazy, I know.) I don’t get it, he’s just not attractive to me.

I haven’t seen Thor yet, but I want to. Because it’s Thor, and I’m a geek. I’m just a poor geek that can’t afford to go to the cinemas that often. :(

  10. anyname says:

This film was so bad….I can’t believe it.

    • heyanamegoeshere says:

Thank god someone who agrees with me.
I’m a woman and I don’t find him all that attractive.
The CGI and the fight scenes were just cheesy to me. I could thing of no better way to describe Asgard than a CGI Rainbow-Fest.
The movie served better as a fish out of water comedy than it did a superhero action movie. There were only two major battles and neither of them were that satisfying.

      • Shadowhumper says:

It served better as a “meh” fairytale than anything else, really. 99% of it about bland uninpressive CGI cities, rainbow tunnels and faffing about with characters looking way too serious for someone who’s in a costume as believable as crappy cosplay outfits. Oh, and the foolish government agents doing nothing but getting in the protagonists’ way. Where did I ever see that before? Maybe in every effing superhero movie ever made, I think. I did enjoy Loki’s performance, though.

  11. KillerTofu says:

This is so true. I haven’t seen Thor yet because when I ask my friends if the movie was good or not all they talk about is how gorgeous Chris Hemsworth is.

  12. beans says:

I’m a girl and I liked most of it. I just found it so funny when Anthony Hopkins said “ice giants”. I loled so hard people turned round!

  13. Emily says:

Good Lord. You dragged your friends to see Thor? Should’ve waited for X-Men: First Class.

  14. Kirstquad says:

There needs to be a 4th Column which reads “Any Moment with Loki in”

    • Mimzy says:

I agree. More girls fangirled over him than over Thor, IMO xD

TBH though, Tom Hiddleston MADE the movie. After he screamed “TELL ME!!” in that one scene when Odin was telling him about his real lineage, it was pretty much *omgwtfthismanneedsafrickingoscar**HEARTTORNINTOABAJILLIONPIECES*

Yeah. There’s not many actors today who can pull off that level of emotion in a character.

    • Zoe says:

      yeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssss!

  15. WarriorPrincess38 says:

I’m a female and the best part of the movie were the fight scenes. Him taking his shirt off drove my sister crazy, but didn’t even affect me.
    Maybe its because I’m pansexual.

  16. I’m a huge Thor fanatic, so I actually preferred the parts of the movie that weren’t strategically placed to make the movie more appealing to typical females. Like the fight against Colossus armor? EPIC!

  17. Minto says:

The best part of the movie for me was seeing Sif. Damn that girl is beautiful. Why couldn’t she take off her shirt instead

  18. TrillianMillion says:

And how interested would you and your guy friends be in a romantic comedy before and after the couple got sexy and the girl took her shirt off?

  19. Alice says:

Girls don’t care about movies, just hunky actors! See, see, I spouted a stereotype! That’s the same as a joke.

  20. devinJ says:

Hard to believe that’s the same guy that played Kirk’s dad in the opening scene of Star Trek…

  21. Mimzy says:

Actually, this is wrong. The entire chart should be solely about HIDDLES*cough* I mean, Loki. :D

(For real, though, all hotness aside, that guy is a PHENOMENAL actor)

  22. random woman says:

This graph would be flipped for me. My personal version of this graph would be more like this:
Fights? “w00t! BRING IT ON!” Jokes? “Some were better than others, but most got a chuckle out of me.” Shirtless scene? “….can we get back to the fighting please?”
