You’ve forgotten the 90% should be, “omg lol whats power, can’t they just, like use lightening or something liek that bengamin guy with the kite? then we’d all be never runing out and stuff, unless it was like sunny or something.”
Because that’s how schools work today.
Except in pre-AP classes, and yet we still boo when the power comes back.
Unless you actually go to a smart school and I do so…. that just makes you an a#%hole.

Don’t they reuse hurricane names if they aren’t really bad infamous hurricanes like Katrina? If so, he could be talking about a different hurricane Earl.
I agree with Travis. And believe me they will never reuse the name Katrina i was close to the cost when it happened…

Just yesterday we had a good hour of no power at school (BVNW — google it)…and the lights came on 7 minutes before we would have to cancel.
After a certain time, it is assumed lunch will be impossible to be made for 2000+ students, so the day must end before lunch)
I should add, you could hear the booing slowly move around the scool as different parts got their power back
Awe dang that must have sucked……
I loved it when the power went out in high school because they would send us home if it was out long enough to prevent lunch.

Of course, if it’s after lunch and no power ALSO means NO AIR CONDITIONING when it’s still warm outside… >:D
… which for a lot of people just means having classes under blazing heat, IF there was an air conditioner to begin with.

Once I got to school in the morning and the power was out. They had to close school.
You forgot “ummmm… hi. Can we have 5 more minutes, please”
That happened at our school once. If it was 10 or so minutes longer we woulda got to go home
At my high school it was “Are the computers okay?” or “How much work did we lose!?” Silly artists.
