Exactly. I hated Twilight. but as Joan Jett, Kirsten Stewart was quite good. She had Joan Jett’s body language down perfectly.

In “Adventureland” she was quite good, too. It really is a shame that everybody just judges her based on Twillight.
You wish she was horrible! She was sorta good in Twilight… New Moon SUCKED but thats just cause shes in the whole depression thing the whole book, and the movie is based on the book. Eclipse was WAY better than either of those, and both Breaking Dawns are gonna be awesome.

Agreed entirely. She’s honestly quite bad in Twilight because… really? What can you do with a character that bland? She was also wonderful in Adventureland and The Yellow Handkerchief. It’s a shame that the only films she does that ever get noticed are a part of Twilight.

In Twilight she’s meant to act awkward, which, if anyone who hated on the series actually took any damn notice of, they would know this *sigh*

Even though I admit it’s a really bad film, I think she actually took the right choice. Hell, if you had the chance to be in her shoes and have millions in the bank and go on from Twilight to make more movies, wouldn’t you?
Twilight will be over in 2012, Kristen has her whole career ahead of her. She’s already making/done 3+ films since she landed the Twilight gig and is pulling herself out of that role
And yes, Dan will forever be known as Harry Potter. I can’t see him as anything different in the different stuff he’s done. It’s pretty strange really

Sad but true. Luckily, I saw her in other things before Twilight so I will see her in different roles and not just as Bella. Same with Rob, seen him in different things before Twilight, therefore I can see him differently.
And Rob’s done 2? finished films since Twilight started and he’s just finished one with Reese Witherspoon. If the hair changes, people should be able to notice the difference
She was fine in Into the Wild. I haven’t seen any other movies that she’s been in.

These guys are going to have no career after Twilight. Do they make money at the box office? NO NO NO NO NO! Remember Me only made about like $50 million. The Runaways didn’t even get picked up to be in movie theaters, it was ONLY in limited release. Little Ashes was in VERY limited release, only like 21 films. They’re not box office draws, and they can’t act. If nobody see’s their movies, then they don’t make money, and nobody’s going to want to hire them. You can see that from the movie’s they’ve done WHILE making Twilight and for RPattz, before.
I don’t get this. How could people write to me and say, “OMG, Rob was so good in remember me! OMG, you have to watch their other movies, they were SOOOOOOOOOOOO good! He’s an amazing actor!”. Then, I tell them to go look at their movies reviews, what PROFESSIONAL CRITICS say about their acting, and how much their movies other than Twilight make, and I’VE MADE MY POINT! If only a couple people think the movie is good, that doesn’t mean it is. Look at their reviews, they have very little chance of becoming respected actors.
Well maybe if people stopped listening to the reviews, judgement of everyone else and dropped their hatred for the Twilight franchise and actually SAW what their acting is like, maybe that would change.
Did you ever go to see Remember Me? Or did you let the critics put you off? Because I’ll tell you now, it was a damn good film. As was The Runaways. The reason they don’t do so well is because people automatically jump to the fact that they were both in Twilight and therefore are not going to be any good.
I don’t think a lot of people have ever heard of giving people another chance.
Go look at “professional critics” ratings of old classics and cult films. If it wasn’t a cult film for being stupid, the critics gave them very bad review before people liked it, then changed it so they wouldn’t get showed up. Pretty close to a fact, just haven’t bothered to actually prove it: Critics will give good stuff bad ratings, and bad stuff good. How else do you think Justin Bieber was able to go farther than bumming it off YT?

Error 404: Acting Not Found
Now that’s just not true…. In the Twilight movies she’s terrible, because, well, the whole script is just.
But after seeing The Runaways… I honestly think she is a good actress. She plays Joan Jett flawlessly in that, I feel.
I can only see her in her Speak role. I loved her in it, and loved the way she really brought the characters emotions out.
SO TRUE! She’s constantly whining and saying “you go and ill die!” or ” stay with me please, dont feed yourself”. she bites her lip half of the movie and all other movies she’s done.
her and robert pattinson are just one-hit wonders. they wont make it after twilight.

In Speak, Kristin was supposed to bite her lip a lot. Mostly because the character did a ton in the book. She was supposed to be awkward. I have only seen her in 3 movies, and thought she did pretty good in two of them.

Hey now, I hate Twilight as much as the next person that doesn’t think out of their ass, but she’s actually not a bad actress. Just a barelyaboveaverage actress stuck in a 13 year old girl’s faerie princess boyfriend wet dream.
