  3. Kevin Burns says:

Do not speak English well ;)

  4. jzimbert says:

    Heed. Heed the warning.

  5. Poochner says:

srsly? “Adhere??” You only get a pass on that one if English is not your first language.

    • ... says:

… I think the OP meant ‘Adhere to’, but forgot the word ‘to’. It’s a mistake that is easily missed because ‘to’ is one of those words that people often read as being there even when it isn’t.

  6. femaledogsandprostitutes says:

Just in case my eyes deceived me, I took a trip to dictionary.com to see if “adhere” had some secondary meaning that could possibly explain its use in this context. Sadly, no. This is why it’s important to pay attention in those classes.

  7. Somebody else says:

If you’re satisfied with a C or a D, the teachers are usually lying. I’ve proved that many times through school and university

    • Lizzi says:

I’ve written many a term paper the night before, and gotten A’s and A-’s. One particular instance in College was our freshman history course that I took with two friends. They were there pretty much every day, and I showed up… well enough times to make sure I didn’t miss a pop quiz (which weren’t really pop quizzes cause the teacher always hinted at them the day before) or any major tests. They got a D and a C… I got an A. One of them still yells at me for it.

None the less, in most cases you should not wait till last minute on some things, unless you LIKE getting less sleep than required to function.

  8. Justice says:

There are a lot of people like me, the ones who spent days writing and polishing a paper only to get a C on it. My final paper my senior year in high school was a 12 page single spaced research term paper for an english literature class. Did it the night before, started 8pm, went to be about midnight. Got an A-.

Some of us work better in pressure. Neurons fire, heart rate increases, blood flows to the brain and stimulates your consciousness… but rather than rescuing a baby from a burning building or shooting a hostage holding terrorist in the head from 200 yards with a handgun while you have sand and dust blurring your vision, we write good term papers.

    • NCA says:

“but rather than rescuing a baby from a burning building or shooting a hostage holding terrorist in the head from 200 yards with a handgun while you have sand and dust blurring your vision, we write good term papers.”

      Win, sir, win!

    • mavisbeecon says:

This is exactly true, i can also tell the effects when i HAVEN’T done my paper and i get incredibly nervous while walking to class, i basically enter ‘spidey sense’ mode and i feel like i could literally dodge bullets with the amount of heightening my senses experience.

  9. powermad80 says:

My teacher actually said that about this one really stupid and ridiculously pointless project and I did it the night before.

  10. Emily says:

This literally made me laugh out loud.
Maybe because of how true, it really is.

  11. Time Kitten says:

huh, I always started the morning it was due.

  12. Joe T. says:

My high-school senior English teacher hated me because I always did my 500-word essays for third-period English in second-period Biology, and she knew it, and yet they were still A-quality work. I didn’t read half the books I wrote about that year either. (And I refuse to finish reading Pride and Prejudice until I have no other unread books in my library.)

  13. Azkyroth says:

Has anyone ever had a professor be right about this?

    • Casa says:

I had issues with a senior project back in the day. It was something I wanted to do so I started on it early and it sucked all my spare time. Do yourself a favor and start late.

  14. I always tell myself that next time will be different with a big assignment, but it never is…

  15. Dr.Dumbass says:

I have exactly 46 days to write my 300 page phd thesis. Proportionally speaking its already the night before the deadline but the part of my brain that likes surfing the internet and playing computer games refuses to acknowledge that.

  16. rano says:

eventually i end up studying highlights

  17. Gretgor says:

    SOOOO true! XD

  18. ChaoticEvilElfSorceress says:
