Awesome, but I hope they acknowledge how much they owe the Simpsons and Beavis & Butt-Head.
Actually, they ower Simpsons and Beavis and Butthead very little, South Park is a mix of satire and madcap humor whereas Simpsons is more along the lines of, well, for lack of a better word, D’oh comedy, they actually share no similarities, not storywise or animation wise, family guy and american dad (shows I incidentally both like better than Simpsons) owe Simpsons a lot, their entire story line is based on the Simpsons (first 1/3 of the show completely unrelated to the final 2/3, either show often being filled with Homer / Peter shenanigans). South Park owes a lot more to Monty Python (which they have said) both on the Satire mixed with madcap and often overuse of profanity and the cut and paste type of animation taken from Terry Gilliam.

What they meant was a Dutch film maker named Theo van gogh, who was killed by extremists after making a film about the treatment of women in the Muslim culture.
nope, pretty sure they mean the Danish cartoonist and they just got it wrong.
I understand the creators of this show were students at Columbine. Better to vent your anger with obnoxious cartoons than with gunfire. Still, I’m glad to say I have never watched it.

WHAT? You’ve never watched South Park? I’ve been watching (clips!) of it since I was 9!
I always wondered about that mohamed thing and how they not only showed it in the super best friends epsiode, they included him in the title sequence in the next season. Who knows how many people make fun of mohamed on a daily basis, I myself do it once every so often, I point to a random object and call it mohamed in public. To this day no one (including muslims) has said anything to me about it and I am still alive.

He’s had to go into hiding, moving his family frequently. Not sure how up to date your news is but you can be sure that Islam is screwing up as many people’s lives as it can.
South Park was good up to about Season 3. Then they started to dork it out.
But not as bad as say Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Only the first season was good, then they ditched the out there humor for just trying to be gross out.

Hate how Comedy Centeral Blocked Mohamed recently on South Park.. I think they need to watch the 2 eppisode special “Cartoon Wars” again.
