But somehow True Blood is deleted only an hour after recording. – Ms. Fix-It
Ha! Between the wife’s Home Shopping Network and the kids iCarly & Total Drama Island shows, I barely get to watch TV at all.
You forgot to add “shows that get skipped for no f**king reason”. This is what really pisses me off.
Yeah, I’ve been able to avoid this somewhat by obsessively checking the future recordings to see if it still says it’s going to record something, but it still happens sometimes. What really annoys me is when it somehow decides to just keep recording something until it’s stopped manually, and since this usually seems to happen for things that are recording in the middle of the night, I end up with 10+ hours of whatever was on after the show I was trying to record, and a bunch of my other recordings automatically deleted to make room. >_<
As usual, violence is the answer. You must make them pay. You must make them hurt enough that they never risk deleting your shows again. Yes, there will be consequences for you, too, but it’ll be worth it in the long run.
Question… The consequences you’re speaking about–will they ever be the same?
That depends; have they been backtraced to the cyber-police?
That’s why we have 2 TVs: one for me, the other for the others. That’s the ultimate solution.
The fact that True Blood has been recorded at all makes me wonder. I’m lookin’ at you, Ms Fix-It! >_>
actually the shows would be better if they used real ones, then they wouldn’t show up at all lol. vampires have their own built in copy protection >.>
