  4. Percy says:

Why isn’t Melmac marked as destroyed?

    • 0RedPenguin0 says:

Good question. Wait… it was destroyed and ALF got away, right? And the same happened to Rhonda. They didn’t just leave. I think that’s correct…

  5. schneeblefish says:

    That’s no moon, that’s a space station…

  6. Gladiator763 says:

    What about Xarem?

  7. dave says:

dude, Reach is at 10 light years from Earth and Pandora is at around 5, put they put Pandora farther than Reach

    • Phlip says:

Both are also drawn further out than Omicron Persei 8, which is 1000ly away. So what? Clearly to-scale accuracy isn’t an issue for whoever made this, and it’s just a glorified list of planets from assorted sci-fi.

If you want to complain about something, complain about the lack of a joke.

  8. kaerl says:

Forgot the Irken Empire, Foodcourtia, etc.

  9. Angry Metroid Fanatic says:

    • ipwnurmom221 says:

  13. josh says:

sorry but where are the halo rings?! =P

    • josh says:

      and isn’t reach destroyed too?!

      • Dan says:

not technically…virtually uninhabitable as opposed to destroyed, in theory you could return there…theres actually a halo short story (in Halo Evolutions) that centers around an Elite (Sangheili to all you Halo geeks out there :D ) who returns to a planet he glassed to discover…something or other…and is happily wandering around…well I say happily, hes depressed and what not, but hes alive…

  14. Annie says:

The lack of Pern and Gallifrey makes me sad…but at least we have the Discworld

  15. Eric says:

I guess trying to include even a small part of all the fiction planets would make this a really huge diagram, and even then, every one of us would be missing some dearest planet. Great A’Tuin also made my day, and me too, was expecting to find Arrakis there.

BTW, nobody asked why do they orbit OUR own Sun and not each planet his own star?

    • jamisings says:

Yeah, Krypton has it’s own sun. A red one in fact. That’s why Superman has his powers, because the radiation from our yellow sun makes him strong. Whereas the radiation from the red sun his planet went around would make him just plain normal.

    • zem says:

Ha! I’m surprised it took this many comments for someone to point it out. Usually people are all over errors like that.

  16. l3lacklagoon says:

WTF Sc2 just came out and i don’t see a single planet from there WTF

    Magrathea!! Where is Magrathea?

  20. LlamaHomefry says:

haha, seeing Centauri Prime and Discworld on there made my day! Nice chart! :D

  21. Maku says:

What about Terminus? on the galaxy’s edge, basis to Asimov’s Foundation?

  22. Lucas says:

Favorite part: next to (destroyed) planet Alderaan, “Moon?”

  23. Lady.Khrystal says:

    …Azeroth???

  24. brmbug says:

Huh. I always thought that Krypton was a lot further out than that.

  25. Time Lady says:

No Raxacorico Fallapatorium? What kind of horrible chart is this? I’d ask about Gallifrey, but it’s a gonner- stuck in the Time Void-thingy.

  26. Greenlazer says:

    And Altair…Forbidden Planet, anyone?

  48. uncast says:

What I love about this, is that while completely inaccurate and missing hundreds of planets and moons from other series, this could inspire another nerd to come out with a more complete and accurate universe, which will inspire another and another until we get one that kicks our asses.

  49. poop says:

Pandora is a moon, not a planet

  50. Sphinx says:

    Moon?

  53. angrydad says:

    No Arrakis = fail

  54. NOOOOO says:

You forgot Cadia! THE IMPERIUM OF MAN IS NOT AMUSED

    • moi says:

to be fair if your gonna have cadia on there your gonna need the eye or terror too and in the great grand scheme of things its not a hugely important planet just one huge fortress… i remember too much.

  55. Bret says:

Too bad they got they last few planets in the wrong order….
“If there is a bright spot in the universe you are on the planet that it’s farthest from.” – Luke Skywalker :D

  56. nate says:

Where’s Iscandar? Without Iscandar, where will Starblazers go aboard the Yamato?

WHERE ARA ALL THE VIDEO GAME WORLDS!?! There’s no Mobius (Sonic), there’s no Sera (Gears of War), there’s not even a goddamned Halo! I can understand that there’s no Mushroom Kingdom (since it’s only kingdom, not a planet). BUT COME ON!

  59. Mr. Snapple says:

Where’s Earth II? The planet directly opposite Earth, so we can never see it, because the Sun’s blocking our view?

nooo they forgot the mass relay

  62. JayPea says:

Larry Niven will be pissed that Ringworld isn’t on this map. It should be. It is a pretty awesome world.

  63. kwen says:

    but where is miranda?

  64. That Guy says:

What? No Planets from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series? Could have used Krikkit or Magrathea..Maybe even Lamuella..

  65. Buyn says:

    No Abydos, or Chulak?

  66. TheDuke says:

Pandora is a Moon (not a planet) with future movies (or books) telling stories of the other moons circling the same planet that Pandora swings around. This picture is just a bunch of sci fi planets lined up. There’s about 6 from Dune I can think of missing and not to mention probably about 30 more from other kickass books/comics and movies. Give it up or find a way to fit them all in Bwahahahah

  67. JASON says:

    that’s no moon…

  68. Drix G says:

    Mogo, anyone?

  69. annie says:

  70. dURKA dURKA says:

    Didn’t the covenant glass reach?

  71. Cybran Chiphead says:

    In no particuar order….

Procyon (Cybran coreworld), Seraphim VII (1/2 the events of SC2 occur here), Altair (I think… again from SC2), Capella (from SC1/FA opening) and Shiva Prime (which is a station near Altair, if the name is correct, and stations are included like the Death Star)

  72. FREAKAZOIDILE says:

you forgot MARFLAR!! (i think thats how its spelt) from south park!! With the Marflar’s!!

    Sadface….

  74. tabbinator says:

Yeah, Arrakis and Gallifrey are needed.

  75. Casey says:

Narn? Minbar? The Vorlon Homeworld? ZhaHaDum?

  76. RadicalX says:

What about Arus and Doom? Voltron got screwed… hehe

  77. ish says:

    wait what? wasnt reach destroyed?

    • Vurtax says:

Reach was glassed, the planets surfaced burned until it is nothing but a broken up glass ball. Disturbing yes

Also the Nova Bomb admiral Whitcomb wasn’t detonated on Reach either (which would’ve destroyed the planet) the Elites took it with them and it blew up a whole fleet of theirs (see Halo: Ghosts of Onyx)

  78. Betsumei says:

Am I the only one disappointed that Alderaan got a “Moon?”, but there’s no Unicron head orbiting Cybertron? It’s been there for five years, you’d think someone’d notice.

  79. Thunderbender18 says:

Points off for no Planet Namek

  80. Zilla says:

    What about Caprica?

  81. Pimoes says:

    where’s the halo rings?

    • Mytube says:

they are Forerunner installations and not true planet but the do have their own environments, i wish Sanghelios was there (Elite home planet) and all of the human colonies too

  82. Mama9cats says:

    What, no Ringworld??

  83. Flight Eagle says:

Cybertron, Reach, and Phloston are my favorites. Alderaan and Moon? made me lol. Miranda of Persephone would have sufficed.

But all in all, severely lacking in the Video Game department. Metroid and Mass effect aren’t gettin’ the love.

  84. emiliah says:

b-b-b-but what about the Klingon home world? :*(

  85. Falcadore says:

There’s more than one Vulcan. The second one, also destroyed, was wrecked by the Fendahl and reduced to asteriods, becoming the Asteriod belt, on their way to Mars, which the laid waste, forcing the Ice Warriors, or most of them, to evacuate to Nova Mars, before their arrival on Earth.

Mondas, destroyed, same orbit as Earth. Ecological disaster in progress on Titan when the atmosphere ignited.

Skaro is also now destroyed… possibly… then there’s Telos, Sontarr, Ruta 3, Spiridon, Dulkis, Marinus…

and hang on, what about Centauri Prime, Minbarr, Narn, Vorlon, Z’ha’dum and the colony worlds of Proxima 3 and Orion 7, and the League of non-Aligned Worlds?

  86. Beast says:

    Pandora is not a planet… It’s a moon.

  87. Amy says:

    That’s not a moon!

  88. AKPeanut says:

Cybertron and Discworld made me squee. I have to say though that everyone’s right and this chart needs a big revamp.

  89. SJ says:

    Those poor Vulcans…

“A turtle?! This is not logical at all!”

  90. Jeremy says:

    Where’s Corneria?! Or Sauria?!

  91. Katachu says:

This guy forgot Star Fox and Met- oh, forget it.

  92. Styx says:

    So…

Where is Aiur, Char, Korhal, Tarsonis and all the other planets from Starcraft?

  93. lilbooshy says:

    where’s namek?

  94. jessicalynnbos says:

    Where is Caprica?

  95. Patrick says:

    “Moon?” –Nope.

  96. Puffer Fish says:

Needs more Gallifrey. I mean, I can understand not including every sci-fi planet in every fandom ever, but Doctor Who is huge to disinclude. ):

  97. Theresa says:

    OH MY GOD, IT’S CYBERTRON!!!!!

  98. Some1 says:

A halo next to the Death St- err,”Moon” would made my day

  99. Woot100 says:

    GUYS!
IF YOU ARE A GEEK AND DONT KNOW WHAT DISKWORLD IS
    LOOK IT UP!
    ITS AMAZING!
Nuff said. See ya. Woot out.

  100. Drix G says:

Why am Htrae beautiful round shape? Is big crime! Htrae am ugly cube shape.

  101. AAA says:

is that reach i see? :)

  102. Bryan says:

You forgot Kladen on the other side of the Sun.

  103. DudeGuy says:

Pandora is a moon of the planet Polyphemos orbiting Alpha Centauri A in the solar system nearest to our own (by us being on the edge of an arm in the Milky Way and Alpha Centauri, with twin star Alpha Centauri A and B, being on the edge closest to us in the nearest arm of the Milky Way) along with numerous other moons. Polyphemos is inspired by, and portrayed as, a blue gas giant with a giant storm. Polyphemos is a lot bigger than Jupiter and is named after the cyclops from Homers Odyssy because the giant storm looks like an eye in the sphere of the planet. Therefore this maps portrayal of Pandora as a planet in our solar system is very wrong as it is, in fact, a moon in another solar system. By the way the movies portrayal of travel time to Pandora is real math. Now you know!

    • Mytube says:

Dude, wow I thought I knew a lot about of the nerd thing i like (Halo) but you just put me to shame. My Favorite fictional star is Epsilon Indi (Harvest’s star because the inhabitants are Midwesterner american’s with Scandinavian roots, that’s my family through and through and most of them are Lutheran, like me!)

  104. Moondew says:

I say you replace Pandora with Mobius! (I hate Avatar but I love Sonic the Hedgehog comics!)

  105. Peace says:

Can someone tell me where New Texas comes from?

  106. stephanie says:

i was looking through to, and i was like ” wait, where is gallifrey? and raxacoricofallapatorius? and, well i gess the lost moon of poosh wouldnt be there… “

  107. AKPeanut says:

    No, it was just ruined.
