Good thing I took the batteries out of that smoke detector five months ago. – Ms. Fix-It

Favorite Comment: Graphite RadicalX says, “Listening to the pops is the way. Every bag is different. You must learn to quiet your mind and emotions and focus upon not the pops, but the emptiness between them. To press the popcorn button or to enter a time and walk away is to assume that you have control over the popcorn, that you have understanding of the popcorn. To understand that you do not understand, this is the Tao…”

Honestly, people. Microwave popcorn is NOT that difficult.

Oh man, thank goodness… I almost panicked, but then I realize that I don’t have the option of 30.5 seconds on my microwave!

It really isn’t that difficult. Read the bag, follow the instructions, enjoy your delicious popcorn…. come on.

…this is stupid. Has the author of this graph ever made microwave popcorn? It can be a pain, sure, but it is anything BUT all of the kernels popping too quickly… -_-

I have a popcorn button on mine, that is horrible, but we still press it and just add 40 seconds when the thing reverts to “time” instead of “circling dash marks”. So when I went to a friends house, and pressed the popcorn button and waited, they looked at me oddly… their button actually worked how it was supposed to, the thing was a super genius at popcorn. Either way, it is better when made on the stove
