And wow, you need to chill out. How did you go from people playing the Pokemon games to Freaky sex? Just because you don’t like that games doesn’t mean everyone does, that is why opinions are usually different.

I know I am wasting my time telling you this because you will still be resentful to Pokemon lovers regardless or what I say, but you can’t blame someone for trying.

Anyway, I LOVE this and I love Pokemon. I have clocked over 500 hours on Platinum and have all 494 Pokemon. Woop. Cannot wait until Black/White. Did I mention that I’m 20? XD

This is so very true, but not only that–very sad. Children are the sponges of information. They absorb things so easily, because they are curious, responsive, and active individuals. Why is this true? There’s a perfectly good explanation, which arises out of the fact that these are the stages of life where we learn the most and our brains develop the most. It’s a very crucial, and sensitive time period in all humans. We can learn a lot from them, as well as teach them more than we could ever hope for ourselves. It’s time we harnessed this power. Not really. An organism will evolve to be a better fit to its niche in the environment, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it gets stronger; many modern creatures are smaller and/or weaker than their ancestors, because it takes more resources to support a large animal, and sometimes animals can survive better if they’re small and weak and don’t require many resources than they can if they’re big and strong and need more. Birds, for instance, are much smaller and weaker than their theropod ancestors, but they’re still quite successful, while you don’t exactly see Tyrannosaurs and Velociraptors roaming around anymore.

In other cases, they’re pretty much the same size as their ancestors, but have evolved other things which enhance their survival. We humans, for instance, are a bit bigger than the earlier hominids, but not by that much. However, our intelligence gives us the ability to survive even in areas with conditions our bodies aren’t adapted to.

What? No it isn’t. All of its stats are boosted with evolution; the base stats in question, attack and special attack, go from 55 to 90 and 50 to 90 respectively.

However, what Raichu doesn’t get is access to the Light Ball, which double’s Pikachu’s stats if held. So from a pure evolution standpoint, it doesn’t get any lower stats, but it does lose some /potential/ attack stats.

uhm, yeah, you r a retard. most Christians on Earth accept evolution, and most people who accept evolution r Christian. so saying that evolution is atheistic in nature just shows how incomprehensably idiotic u truely are. also, most of the “flaws” creationist point out r usually made up by idiots like Ben Stein and are not based on anything in reality: (“uhm, evolution is flawed, cuz, uhm, it doesn’t explain gravity, and uhm, how come it doesn’t do that”). the truth is that evolution is a unifying theory of biology (medicine, genetics, animal behaviour, biodiversity, etc) and as it is so extensive and explains things rather perfectly, it would need something incredibly powerful to discredit evolution. and if it is ever done, the scientific community would admit its mistake, adopt the new theory that discreditted evolution, and whoever made the theory would become as famous as Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, and evolution would become just as much a joke as geocentricism. of course, no creationist will ever be able to pull that off, as the majority lack the mental capacity to even kno the difference between biology and astronomy

Actually evolution is a bit like Pokemon. The organism starts out small and “weak” and as it levels up/evolves, it grows stronger, has higher stats, and grows resistances (and sometimes weaknesses).

In nature, over millions of years, animals will “evolve” to grow stronger (as well as pick up weaknesses). Through natural selection, the organism fit to survive will pass on its genes.

To relate that to Pokemon, as the Pokemon wins more battles, it grows stronger and has a higher tendency to evolve over a Pokemon that always loses.
