WTF, Duct Tape works great on ducts. It works better on drunk frat boys, but you can’t fit it all into one graph.

Fun story, this popular sticky tape was originally called ‘duck tape’ because of its ability to repel water. It was found in a lot of military operations, and was used as a quick fix on leaky ducts.

The leaky ducts were not actually repaired by the duck tape, but it sufficed. It grew to be duct tape, despite the fact that it is actually terrible on ducts. There you have it.

In fact Duct tape does work VERY well on ducts. For heating ducts, yes it does melt, but, it actually forms a glue which holds just as well if not beter, and it works amazing for air ducts.
