That was a well thought out and historically backed argument. I’m sure I can speak for us all when I say we all really appreciated your attack on Christianity.
The immaculate conception != the virgin birth. Not only does conception not mean birth, but immaculate doesn’t even mean virgin. Actually, the immaculate conception doesn’t refer to Jesus at all. Now, whether any Catholics read this site or not, I dunno, but just wanted to share that. Knowledge FTW.
you are correct. the immaculate conception was mary’s conception. it is called immaculate becasue she is believed to have been born without original sin. i am not saying that i believe this, just that this is the difference between the virgin brith and the immaculate conception.
Right, but if men like to think women all want to have babies, maybe they should be terrified of sticking their penis in a baby-making machine? I don’t want to get my hand cut off, so I don’t stick it in a lawn mower… right?
A woman can get pregnant during any time of the month, and with as little as precum. Even if you pull out and she’s on her period, there’s still a chance. It’s just a matter of that’s the worst time to conceive.
Actually I would have nightmares about it too if I didn’t knew what condoms are.
In fact that girl is cute, so… who cares. I wouldn’t say no if a girl would ask me if I want to watch it.
Odd…since Juno presents teenage pregnancy as a positive experience…
And even so…you’d think then teenagers would clue into the whole sex/pregnancy causation.
if you mean this graph shows teenage “love” to be scary then i might like to point out the creator of this graph happens to be from England. the internet is not composed solely of Americans and sometimes stupidity can include jumping to conclusions about people based on no real evidence at all. thankyou
“Americans are stupid as always” <– I can think of a bunch of things to make of this line.
-You act before you think. Seriously, you see a graph on something like teens fearing making a girl pregnant and that crap, so you automatically think "Americans?" That has to be the worst logic I ever saw in my life.
-You think stereotypes = everything. Just because you hear America's political system is f**ked up and we have some idiots here you go think that all of America is made up of idiots? Newsflash, there's stupidity in every nation of the WORLD, even (and especially) in England, France, and the rest of Europe. I can think of an example right now; I'm talking to it. America isn't a dumping ground for the retarded. IIRC, a scientist from NY, which is an area in AMERICA, invented a plating on space ships that allowed them not to deteriorate when they re-entered the atmosphere. That was a scientific breakthrough for astronomers, and that was developed by an American. Still think he's stupid? You try making a fireproof plate for a spaceship that won't burn up when re-entering the atmosphere, I dare you.
-That "as always" thing just cracks me up. So America is always stupid. Does that make everyone else, like you a genius? There are a bunch of smart people in America. If there weren't, universities like Yale and Harvard would be empty collecting dust. The Space Station would cease to exist. Everything else that required intelligence gone because there is none. Your comment is invalid and unnecessary.
Now, that "they need to learn about love" thing is bullshit. There are millions of marriages a year in America. Sure, a bunch of them end up being divorces, but I can bet ANYTHING that the divorce rate in other countries is practically the same.
Wow, because all teen guys think about is having sex, isn’t it?
I mean bloody hell, the person who made this clearly had some sort of problem as a teen to say that all the worried about was getting some girl pregnant.
I’m 15 and my only worry is my exams, after that it’ll be more exams and then college, so yup, even more exams.
These stupid stereotypical views shouldn’t be allowed to make the front page.
i never said that was what i was worrying about. just a thought i had whilst watching the film. no stereotyping intended. especially as I’m only 16 myself. i was trying to be ironic about it. no harm intended and sorry if it caused any offence.
Don’t worry, honey. Someday they’ll make a movie about taking exams, and then you can have all the nightmares you want about that movie. In the meantime, maybe you can take an exam on how not to get all uppity about a graph saying that teens might have nightmares about a movie where a girl gets pregnant.
haha you can count on the internet. wait long enough and you get someone saying what you’re thinking. but seriously don’t bother getting offended by the internet. most of it’s “offensive material” so if you want to moan, go find something worth complaining about
Juno is seriously one of my favorite movies of all time (so is Knocked Up, weird), but it struck fear into my very soul. I’ve had nightmares about teenage pregnancy and I don’t even have sex. Most terrifying dreams ever.
Also, in response to whoever said that Juno projects teenage pregnancy as a positive experience, I have to respectfully disagree. It’s not like (spoiler alert) she keeps the baby and her and the dad and baby are all happy go lucky as a family. No. It’s a funny movie but she breaks down, and it deals with deep issues other than teen pregnancy. It has a happy ending but it’s not a movie that says, “Hey, go get pregnant.”
wait a second… *scroll back up to top*… okay, it says teenage guys. right. *mwahaha chuckle snort*… *scroll back down and type this comment*… for a sec i thought it said teenage girls, but no… *scroll back up… scroll back down*
Now i can only laugh.
btw, if Juno gives you nightmares, i’m sorry. Yur probably not man enough to even watch zombieland.
just a thought. no offense.
How is Juno a terrifying film for teenage boys? Even with the “terrifying” concept of teen-pregnancy (which is not so much a scary thing as a situation which you’d ideally not want to have to deal with), she chooses quite early on in the piece to give the baby up for adoption. The child’s biological father essentially doesn’t have to deal with the consequences at all. If someone going to be sexually active as a teenager and not be safe about it, this is pretty much the ideal outcome (Aside from just getting lucky and the girl not being impregnated).
Sheesh. Given the reaction this has caused I’d be interested to see the reaction to a film where the teenaged girl got pregnant and chose to keep the baby and demand child support.
true, i hate it when you(me) have drunkin, wasted blackout sex wid no condom in the bathroom and the girl who isnt ur gf gets pregnant you barely remember. great surprise
No, that movie kicked ass
That’s a great movie because it’s realistic much. Now behave well and put a condom
Truth? Yes.
I’m a young girl and I have nightmares about that too. Jeez not everyone wants to pop out a baby. Put it back in your pants and it won’t happen.
Tell that to the Virgin Mary. She was all set to get married when BAM, immaculate conception.
No, the “virgin’ Mary is just proof that you can get pregnant from anal sex.
That was a well thought out and historically backed argument. I’m sure I can speak for us all when I say we all really appreciated your attack on Christianity.
Sensitive, eh? Maybe you shouldn’t be checking out sites like this.
not sensitive, just not liking the fact that someone goes “Mary had anal sex lol,” which is kind of rude.
The immaculate conception != the virgin birth. Not only does conception not mean birth, but immaculate doesn’t even mean virgin. Actually, the immaculate conception doesn’t refer to Jesus at all. There is always someone that no matter what the subject was , even if it was about cheeseburgers, would find a way to insult Christians………
Agreed… I don’t see the point in flaming Christians anyway
I mean, they think a God exists. So what? Just let them have their damn opinion and leave them alone, right?
Well you have to close your legs too sweetheart.
Right, but if men like to think women all want to have babies, maybe they should be terrified of sticking their penis in a baby-making machine? I don’t want to get my hand cut off, so I don’t stick it in a lawn mower… right?
i put my hand in a lawn mower loads of times. the trick is, dont have it plugged in or the switch on and you wont get your hand cut off.
safety first.
Good point, you’re only safe when she is on her period.
I knew a woman who got pregnant on her period…….. Not sure how that worked but it’s true…
It’s amazing how little men seem to know about women’s bodies. Ovulation does not stop during menstruation.
No, you’re only safe when you wear a condom. Even then you’re not “safe.”
A woman can get pregnant during any time of the month, and with as little as precum. Even if you pull out and she’s on her period, there’s still a chance. It’s just a matter of that’s the worst time to conceive.

In fact that girl is cute, so… who cares. I wouldn’t say no if a girl would ask me if I want to watch it.
i would be creeped out and concerned if a girl asked me to watch juno.
if i were a guy.
I know how womens think, its scary… they all secretly want babies.
you can still ovulate on your period.
And not every woman want’s kids, I don’t. And neither do many other women I know.
Odd…since Juno presents teenage pregnancy as a positive experience…
And even so…you’d think then teenagers would clue into the whole sex/pregnancy causation.
It does???? That movie scared the crap outta me! It didn’t seem positive at all. o_o
I should clarify that he doesn’t explicitly represent them as being his own. They are, however, posted without attribution.
they should remove the three other movies, and make the whole pie Red.
What about teeth?! It is always running through the back of my mind….
You obviously haven’t seen Teeth.
I doubt it – even after seeing the movie, teenage boys’ ability to associate actions with long-term consequences won’t improve.
ya… Teeth should be up there
Mamma Mia? Batman and Robin? TWILIGHT?!
Has anyone mentioned the movie “Teeth” yet?
Nope. Congratulations on being the first.
As a girl, that movie gave me nightmares too. I never want kids. Ever.
Twilight should be up there too, those movies and books are scary.
Juno: A story about a douchebag and a whore
So having sex once makes you a whore? What does that make your mother?
Now, stop with the harsh truth kids…
So you’re saying you and everyone else is the product of a whore?
What a great idea. A few more movies like that will scare teens into never having sex again!
Oh come on, that movie is perfect nightmare fodder for girls. Even girls who only have safe sex – nightmares don’t have to be logical.
(And it’s not seen as a good thing. It’s seen as an obstacle for a spunky girl to get through.)
You forgot to add Twilight..
i was just about to say that . . .
. . . don’t forget New Moon!
WOW! thanks for voting this onto the main page
Americans are stupid as always, they need to learn about love.
Losers are stupid as always, they need to learn that everybody has thier own opinion.

I end my rant :E
Up the bum no babies.
if you made a movie of that, it could be part of this graph.
Because we all know this is every girls dream.
Wow, because all teen guys think about is having sex, isn’t it?

Juno gave me nightmares and I’m a 24 year old female D:
Juno is seriously one of my favorite movies of all time (so is Knocked Up, weird), but it struck fear into my very soul. I’ve had nightmares about teenage pregnancy and I don’t even have sex. Most terrifying dreams ever.

if I were a teenage male, I’d have nightmares about “Teeth”
but since I’m not, I thought it was entertaining…
I was so expecting to see Teeth on this list.
I typed this out as an individual comment, then saw yours. XD
Did you find it hilarious, too?
No nightmares from the ring. Just wanted to give sadako a hug.
WRONG. All teenage males are afraid of Teeth. Look it up.
Oh. Haha. Someone already said it.
I would like to point out that the third installment of The Ring has not come out yet. This makes it quite hard to be terrified of as a trilogy.
wait a second… *scroll back up to top*… okay, it says teenage guys. right. *mwahaha chuckle snort*… *scroll back down and type this comment*… for a sec i thought it said teenage girls, but no… *scroll back up… scroll back down*

What about the movie Teeth?
I think that should be the largest
no Deliverance?
“Squeal like a piggy”
“Squueeeeeee! Squeeeeee!!”
i have gotten 4 different girls pregnant since senior year to 1st year college, abortion is great solution
Ever heard of adoption? It’s a viable alternative to murder, just saying.
i hate it when u get a chick pregnant and her stupid friends convince her to keep it, like wtf! its not them having a kid
true, i hate it when you(me) have drunkin, wasted blackout sex wid no condom in the bathroom and the girl who isnt ur gf gets pregnant you barely remember. great surprise
