The immaculate conception != the virgin birth. Not only does conception not mean birth, but immaculate doesn’t even mean virgin. Actually, the immaculate conception doesn’t refer to Jesus at all. Now, whether any Catholics read this site or not, I dunno, but just wanted to share that. Knowledge FTW.
you are correct. the immaculate conception was mary’s conception. it is called immaculate becasue she is believed to have been born without original sin. i am not saying that i believe this, just that this is the difference between the virgin brith and the immaculate conception.

A woman can get pregnant during any time of the month, and with as little as precum. Even if you pull out and she’s on her period, there’s still a chance. It’s just a matter of that’s the worst time to conceive.

Oh come on, that movie is perfect nightmare fodder for girls. Even girls who only have safe sex – nightmares don’t have to be logical.
(And it’s not seen as a good thing. It’s seen as an obstacle for a spunky girl to get through.)

Newsflash, there's stupidity in every nation of the WORLD, even (and especially) in England, France, and the rest of Europe. I can think of an example right now; I'm talking to it. IIRC, a scientist from NY, which is an area in AMERICA, invented a plating on space ships that allowed them not to deteriorate when they re-entered the atmosphere. That was a scientific breakthrough for astronomers, and that was developed by an American. Still think he's stupid? You try making a fireproof plate for a spaceship that won't burn up when re-entering the atmosphere, I dare you.

I’m 15 and my only worry is my exams, after that it’ll be more exams and then college, so yup, even more exams.

Don’t worry, honey. Someday they’ll make a movie about taking exams, and then you can have all the nightmares you want about that movie. In the meantime, maybe you can take an exam on how not to get all uppity about a graph saying that teens might have nightmares about a movie where a girl gets pregnant.

Juno gave me nightmares and I’m a 24 year old female D:
Juno is seriously one of my favorite movies of all time (so is Knocked Up, weird), but it struck fear into my very soul. I’ve had nightmares about teenage pregnancy and I don’t even have sex. Most terrifying dreams ever.
Also, in response to whoever said that Juno projects teenage pregnancy as a positive experience, I have to respectfully disagree. It’s not like (spoiler alert) she keeps the baby and her and the dad and baby are all happy go lucky as a family. No. It’s a funny movie but she breaks down, and it deals with deep issues other than teen pregnancy. It has a happy ending but it’s not a movie that says, “Hey, go get pregnant.”

How is Juno a terrifying film for teenage boys? Even with the “terrifying” concept of teen-pregnancy (which is not so much a scary thing as a situation which you’d ideally not want to have to deal with), she chooses quite early on in the piece to give the baby up for adoption. The child’s biological father essentially doesn’t have to deal with the consequences at all. If someone going to be sexually active as a teenager and not be safe about it, this is pretty much the ideal outcome (Aside from just getting lucky and the girl not being impregnated).
Sheesh. Given the reaction this has caused I’d be interested to see the reaction to a film where the teenaged girl got pregnant and chose to keep the baby and demand child support.
