  1. Lumin says:

Anyone notice that it was submitted by “Against Bieber”?

  2. Andy says:

This only applies to one song…By a horrible artist…

    • CantonDem says:

Well, the title of the graph is technically “Content of A Pop Song” (emphasis on “a”). It just doesn’t specify the song. (It doesn’t need to.)

The pop music I listen to has actual lyrics, so… :)

  3. Hyper Critic says:

C’mon guys, The Beatles were also victims of this. The only artist I can think of who didn’t use those as fillers was Elvis Costello, who did a wonderful song in which the only lyrics were “baby,” creating a strange meta joke

    • itwasadarkandstormynight says:

The Beatles used those words, sure, but for them the green section would be much larger. I think the graph is mainly criticizing songs that consist of “baby” and “yeah” and pretty much NOTHING ELSE (like Justin Bieber).

  4. Lindsay says:

    LOL SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE.

    • um says:

don’t go dragging Muse into this just because Twihards got their grubby mitts on them, mk

      • Niall says:

Yeah, but the graph still applies.

        • Lindsay says:

yo i’m a die hard muser over hurr.
          just poking a little fun.
          nobody likes SMBH anyways.
          well not people i know.

          • um says:

lol sorry, I just get sort of… insanely defensive…. when pop culture infringes on things I already love.

I love SMBH. I loved it before it was popular. I hate that feeling. It crushes my soul, you know?

            • Lindsay says:

Yep I understand. I actually liked SMBH before it was popular too but it’s overplayed now so I get a little sick of it.

              • :D says:

You can stop apologizing, I don’t hate you forever. This is a tender subject.

For the record? I tend to offend way more people with my comments. People usually think I’m trolling, even when I’m not.

                You’re okay in my book.

        • um says:

Does not. If ‘ooh baby’ was the tiny little green slice, and we had another slice for ‘glaciers’, and you eliminated ‘yeah’, then maybe we would agree.

Do you even understand how graphs work? And music genres?

    • Kausill says:

Yes but Muse actually write their own music and all the Babes and Oohs and Yeahs aren’t overused.

      • Lindsay says:

true dat. totally not trying to offend muse, just poking some fun. as i stated before i am quite a large fan of theirs. it’s actually embarassing sometimes how much i’m obsessed with them…..

  5. anonymouse says:

Graphs that use the word “actually” should be banned.

  6. SkyMaro says:

Pop music is dead when the king does not sit on his throne…

  11. Xenon says:

    You forgot Lady Gaga.

    “Ra Ra-ah-ah-ah
    Roma Roma-ma
    GaGa
    Oh la-la”

  12. EllieWhite says:

Oh please, it’s the same with a rap song, except you exchange the ‘oooh’ for ‘That’s right’ and add a slice for ‘C’mon y’all’.

  13. RJ says:

I like dark chocolate. 90% Cacao.

  14. Random Dude says:

Time to go make my own pop song…

  15. Who am I? says:

The problem with the music of today is it’s like plastic; mass produced and not well made. It was sort of like that in the 1950s.

  16. I'll Take Pumpkin Pie for $200 says:

Technically, it would only be pi because the pumpkins in the numerator and denominator cancel out.

  17. I'll Take Pumpkin Pie for $200 says:

Ignore that last comment. I posted the wrong comment on the wrong chart.

In response to this graph, you’re spot-on.

  18. Kyragudo says:

Sounds a bit like what the pop star said in her last sex tape as well.

  19. arcures123 says:

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

  20. Reecer6 says:

I am now dedicated to writing a song whom’s lyrics are completely composed of “Baby,” “Ooh,” and “Yeah.”

    Ooh Yeah Yeah
    Baby Ooh Yeah
    Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah

    CHORUS

    Baby Baby!
    Oooooohh Yeah!
    Baby Baby!
    Yeah!

    Yeah yeah Baby
    Baby Ooh Yeah
    Yeah Oooooohhh
    Baby Baby Ooh.

    CHORUS

    ect.

  21. Fel says:

  28. Anonny125 says:
