A more accurate description of thermodynamics may never have been articulated.

    Well done.

  2. el yo yo es grande says:

This graph’s a breath of fresh air from the junk that has been ending up on here recently. Thank you

  3. Aaaaargh says:

Why are there three levels of “frozen”?

But the idea behind this graph is definately correct. Hence, learn to cook for real.

    • Stacular says:

I agree, good concept, but b/c I’m a graph elitist I was bothered that “Frozen” was represented 3 times. Why not represent multiple levels of frozen? Or title the y-axis something like “Thermic state of food product” ?

      • BAFID says:

from 0 seconds through 1 minute the line should have stayed horizontal and the two upper ‘Frozens’ should have been left out.

  4. Ghostwish says:

The first two posts, possibly by the same person, are newbs. These ‘my microwave sucks’ graphs have been done countless times, and the answer to them is always the same.

Learn to cook, or stop buying the cheapest microwave you can find.

    • el yo yo es grande says:

I’m truly sorry my post wasn’t up to your requirements. All hail king of graphjam, “Ghostwish”

    • ThatOneGuy says:

Ghostwish, I can cook, and I do have a good microwave. This graph was not intended to be a ‘my microwave sucks’ graph, but a graph that shows what happens when most frozen food ( like a burrito) is put in a microwave for a certain period of time.

  5. JimmyBob says:

Douche alert, douche alert. Ghostwhich is douche.

  6. Andrew says:

As an unbiased outside observer, I would agree with Ghostwish, although he could if said it nicer. I really have issues with the 3 levels of frozen. I don’t mean to be harsh, since this is a site of leisure, but we should at least aspire to attain some basic level of graph standards.

    • what says:

relative to the past few weeks of graphs written by 14 year olds, and yes although this has been done before, this one is way better by comparison

    • ThatOneGuy says:

Andrew, I’m sorry if my graph did not meet your standards. If you would be so kind as to tell me what your standards are, then I can assure you that I will learn from them and try to do better in my graph making.

  7. Icanhascheezburgernewbie says:

You think this is bad? Try a pizza-flavored hot pocket. One time when I bit into the sides and it was perfectly warm, I actually thought it turned out perfect. Then, I nearly chipped a tooth when I got to the center.

  8. Toolbit says:

I think we could all agree that a very basic “how to create a graph” page would be nice…. sort of an explanation of what each graph is for.

Line graphs are to show a continuous relation of 2 variables
Bar is to show relation of multiple variables (x axis) to one (y axis)
And pie charts are for retards who work in office buildings

All I am saying is that I am getting tired of seeing Bar graphs that should be line graphs. Or pie charts that should be bar graphs.

  9. dfgd says:

I like the 3 levels of frozen, because it’s showing how sensitive a cooking burrito is. It’s either frozen or all over the microwave.

  10. frooglenoodle says:

then cook it for 1 minute sheesh

  11. Rain says:

    “No wheezing the juice!”

  12. ThatOneGuy says:

I have to say that I could have done better on this graph yes, but I put the 3 ‘Frozen’s in there for a reason. I personally thought that the graph looked better with three rather than one.

The reason I called it what happened was because that is what happened. At those times in the microwave it was frozen.

  13. me! says:

The inconsistent time intervals really bother me, though the nature of the graph would lose a little bit of meaning if they were fixed.

“Warm bits but MOSLY cold” – obvious spelling error.
“warm bit but mostly frozen” – lacking capitalization, throwing the consistency out of whack. It also says “bit” as opposed to “bits” as in the previous… is this meant to mean there’s just one part of the burrito that’s warm, or another error?

  14. KathleenTheGreat says:

People are being hypercritical of this graph, and yet this graph rings true.
This is why I usually end up cutting the things in half partway through to finish cooking.

  15. ARF says:

You had a chance to use proper scales, and make it into a real-ish graph. Why didn’t you?

  16. Em says:

    Hilarious!

  17. XR says:

Yeah i didn’t want to be judgmental but then I looked at the graph again and it’s really bad bro. How high were you when you decided that the way you did that graph was the best way to do it?

  18. The_Tallest_Hobbit says:

As Metallica once said: “Sad but True”.

  19. Laura says:

Wow. I can’t believe you people are critically judging the realistic quality of a graph on a humor site. Seriously? By the way the three levels of frozen are SATIRE. Like the rest of the site. Get over it.

  20. Fawfulster says:

    “Warm bits but mostly cold”

That’s what you’d think. Then it’s time to take a bite and it feels as if the Lake of Fire from Hell itself is transported to your tongue.
