    To me it’s akin to the halting problem. You don’t know if the browser doesn’t automatically redirect you, or if it just takes forever to do so. It’s safest to assume it has failed and click.

      That would be plausible if people (like me) didn’t go for the ‘click here…’ link immediately

        Sometimes there ain’t a “click here” link. Sometimes it’s just “here”, or something else. It’s a matter of HTML tag knowledge.

    TRWTF is people who use meta refresh instead of proper 3xx redirects.
