I’m glad I’m not the only one that does that. The longer I have to wait for the waitress to get back with my change the more I am likely to forget my food.

To go boxes for me are more “packing up uneaten food so the waitress doesn’t look at me funny and make me feel guilty when I don’t finish my entire meal”
Ditto. I do it to complement the restaurant. I usually throw it away later because it tastes nasty heated back up.
Why compliment the resaurant if they made food that isn’t work taking home. I say let them know if their food sucks, unless you just totally hate reheating food…
Leaving food uneaten in restaurants isn’t just a waste of food, but a waste of money as well. You should only pay for what you eat, so that the other food wouldn’t go to waste. I think you guys are forgetting about the people in India and Africa who eat only one meal per day, so please, think about them the next time you leave your to go boxes on that fastfood table.

Well if I eat the food that I don’t want they will continue to starve… Unless you plan to take what is left of your food to India or Africa, you really don’t have a point.

Even leaving India, Africa, and all the other third world countries out of the equasion it’s still a waste of money to not eat food you pay for.

i also think this is one of the big problems in america. lots of food on the plate and we are being reprimanded for not eating it all. i’d rather waste a few dollars and not eat everything on the plate if it means i don’t become a fat ass.
