meh
I think this graph is improperly worded at best.
So according to this graph, when kids swear, it often makes their parents turn and look (especially if the parent isn’t fond of their child saying swears)
What an amazing parenting concept!
dont put any thought into this… its not a good graph, god knows how it made it do the main page…
I think you’re just a pretty rotten parent.
Seconded.
Either that or they had a really rotten childhood with parents who didn’t give them a second thought.
This one is neither funny nor true. I don’t get why it’s on the main page.
As I am a dad, I am always playing with my daughter on the playground. This is creating a wonderful bond between us.
Now if my wife would just look at us while we play. Or at least when I fall and hurt myself.
Lol. xD
If I had kids, I would take them to the playground so I could ignore them and forget they existed for awhile.
… which is why I’m never having kids.
So I understand this graph.
youre a horrible parent… just to let you know
I think I like the comments much more than the graph itself.
Apparently there are more kids that fall and are hurt, than there are kids that fall.
I think you misread the legend. It says you “look” more often when they fall and get hurt. It does not say that there are more kids falling than falling and getting hurt.
What?
I think it is a really good graph!
I thought it was pretty accurate. Would probably describe how your babysitter or au pair would do, as well.
…bitter about one’s childhood much?
Lols! Excellent graph about american parents!
When they say swear words they think,” AHHH, My little baby isn’t a child anymore, i’ll never be able to think of him the same way again.”
Laughed so hard at this! I would replace child yelling swears with “child misbehaving” but that’s pretty much how it goes. No one ever cares until someone’s hurt or in trouble
