They may be able to beat you up, but I hardly believe they could beat up everybody on that vehicle who finds that music annoying. Try to communicate, or just be brave and trust in the public’s support. And if someone else stands up and asks the violator to stop, join them.

I came to Brazil about three years ago. Where I am living, it’s kinda rare to see those people around. But then I went to Londrina (as in, “small London. AHAHAHA) to see my cousin, and holy crap, those people are EVERYWHERE. Heard some of those “funk” are worse than some stuff I used to hear back in America, but seeing the kind of people who listen to that, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true.
its always some terrible rap song played loudly on a cell phone in the subway. they will hold the phone up with the speaker facing out so everyone can hear what they are listening to
