Thank you for giving people a place to put their opinions at the top of the page.
If it takes that long to buy ski passes, either you’re there for a very short time or the service is terrible.
Agreed. While the chart doesn’t NEED to me in chronological order, it would be funnier if some of these were in order. Having “Actually skiing” in the third slot totally ruins the comedic effect of the chart. It’s like having the punchline of a joke in the beginning followed by the setup.
In a joke, yes. In a graph as just a graph, no. As this was both a joke and a graph, yes, it’d be better if it was last. But still, it doesn’t HAVE to be last, as RJ said.
Nope… Sitting on chair lefts and renting skis should switch. Where my school’s ski club goes, the lifts go at a nice fast speed, and rarely do they stop. But for some reason their rental shop is non functional. They always mess it up for me. The skis would be too big, or one time they gave me a snowboard! And my equipment was pre-ordered too! And I agree with M.Z. I’ve wiped out, and I had to hunt down some equipment =P
OBJECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only spend about max 6 minutes in the lines….don’t eat lunch/sipping hot chocolate, No time in the tickets because i have a season pass, don’t rent skis ’cause i got 2 of ‘em. Sitting on the lift will maybe take about 5-10 minutes…. If you want to ski buy a pair of used ones, season pass, and if you are hungry fine eat lunch or have a big breakfast, even though i don’t and i stay on average till 2pm. And most of all for me true the most time is in the lines/lift, but I take about 1 min to get down my local mountain. Mountain High, California.
FIRST !!

No, waiting in line does *NOT* count as buying them because you are waiting in line, not buying them.
so you go skiing before you buy ski passes? then go on the ski lift after drinking hot chocolate in the lounge?
…so you’re too stupid to realize that pie charts don’t denote chronological order?
it would make more sense if it had some kind of order other than completely at random.

Though I guess everyone guessed the slimmest part of the graph would be skiing.
If there is ever a band called Phantom Bacon, I’m sure it will totally suck.
and NP stands for No penis
lol. your use of the word denote don’t make sense. using the word denote does not denote intelligence when used incorrectly.
That’s not the point, you twit. The point is that the punchline should be last.
Those things don’t have to be in the correct chronological order.
The punchline has to be LAST. That is what has to happen.
No, biff, it does not HAVE to be last. Only for it to be considered remotely humorous; Only then does it HAVE to be last.
My life story: Never been skiing. Never want to.
In a joke, yes. In a graph as just a graph, no. As this was both a joke and a graph, yes, it’d be better if it was last. But still, it doesn’t HAVE to be last, as RJ said.
Hm…it is missing a massive piece.
“walking along the mountain picking up ski gear after wiping out”
Also “Lying on your back with your skis tucked under you wondering how you’re ever going to stand up”

This comment I found funnier than the graph.
Dragging your equipment to and fro the slopes is the biggest time slot.
If this is how you spend your time on a mountain. . . . you’re doin it wrong.
^this
true that
Yeh, I’d hate to go where you all go skiing.
This is the best comment out of the whole lot.
I’m assuming that “falling on face” and other such activities are included under “actually skiing”.
This is all part of the “experience.”

LOL…I learned how to ski at Mountain High
It would have been better to just have a bar graph of time spent in chair lift line vs time skiing.
You must live in the Mid West. Worlds slowest chair lift and shortest runs. Also, Nachos…I don’t see Nachos on there…
…and spraining your taint when u awkwardly try to regain ur balance but fall anyways
My graph would be 5% skiing, 95% trapped in the cabin in a leg brace. Crashed on the first afternoon and tore my knee ligaments. Fail.
hanging in the middle of nowhere in a chairlift because 30 retarded kids have to get on
Agreed.
This chart was obviously made by a noob from orange county.
You forgot about falling because a noob snowboarder crashed into you
