  1. McFirst says:

    FIRST !!

  2. Firegirl says:

You must live in WI, or at least the Midwest. Except our state NEVER shuts down. :<

    • Yeah says:

You may not have heard, but the DC/Baltimore/Philly area got 2+ feet of snow this past weekend. And there’s close to a foot more forecast for Tuesday.

      • Keetra says:

Yeah, I’m in that area and it took me 4 hours to shovel out to my car and to clear it off. All that and I can’t even go anywhere cuz the road has not been plowed. And we’re getting more tom night! Another ten inches. The total height (since this aint melting) it going to be around 2.5 to 3 feet depending on where you live.

      • Michelle says:

I live in the Washington DC area (about 20 miles from the city). This winter has been HELL!

        • t-rex says:

Further proof that you aren’t from the Midwest. When we get two feet of snow, we still have to go to work and school in the morning.

  3. Wolfpack says:

I just did that.Took me about 2 hours of constant digging and im halfway done

  4. quix0te says:

Lotsa cheap houses here in Florida. Just sayin’.

  5. Here in Arkansas, we’re only getting 2″ – 4″ of snow. At least it’s actually snow, and not sleet! Eh, wha- NOOOOO!!! Well, time to go clean out the sattelite dish. Again. Like I did 30 minutes ago.

  6. Ophelia says:

I’m so jealous of you and your snow. We’ve hardly got any up here in the southern part of the Great White North T_T

    • Keetra says:

You want it? I’ll send you a huge box of you want it! :P seriously, take it. I’m so sick of snow this winter. We’ve been getting hit almost every single weekend. Ugh

  7. Zip Zop Zoobity Bop says:

Yeeaaah, where I work it doesn’t matter if you can’t get out of your own house, you still have to be at work at the scheduled time.

    • Keetra says:

Same here. My boss just told me I have to be at work on Wednesday not matter what. And I can’t get my car anywhere. >.>

  8. thestashattacked says:

There are places where the snow makes the roads so bad you can’t get to work???? Where? Where is this mythical place? There hasn’t been a snow day in my hometown in 30 years!

  9. Tiblet says:

No more! No more! I want my regular life back!

  10. Pants_Mcgee says:

Snow? Move out of the sticks.

  11. Athanar says:

I’m in Camp Hill, PA (it’s a borough near Harrisburg) and we got about 15 inches. I hated it. And I actually liked that I had work that day. (It was really slow, easy money. I work at the nearby Wegmans.)

  12. nempol says:

haha, you americans make a fuss about few inches of snow, and if it’s more that 10, it’s a national disaster haha

  13. Stuck says:

How about “omfg I just spent $600 to go to D.C. and the week I choose to go happens to be the same week blizzards decide to hit”?

  14. Zuliris says:

12 inches of snow? We have 40 inches on the ground here in sunny Maryland.

  15. Jess says:

You forgot “Roads are horrible but still have to go to work.” Thats when it really sucks.

  16. alicia says:

In GA if snow is even predicted in the forecast, schools shut down and people panic, swarming the grocery stores because they think they’ll be isolated for days even though the forecast also predicts clear, sunny days for the four days after the snowfall.
