Something similar is true for videogames- my partents always turn up when I’m halfway through the difficult bits and distract me from the game, but never while the game is loading, or a boring cutscene is on.

If your parents keep walking in on you during the sex scenes, you should cut back on the porn just a little bit.

My parent’s stairs creak pretty loudly, so when I visit home I hear them, can get ready to alt-tab to something harmless like freecell or something. Strangely nobody’s asked why I’m always playing freecell naked in the dark. (“that’s how it’s played out east! Seriously, mom!)

It’s so true though. When I was watching Love Actually my mom was sleeping and woke up and walked in the room at guess what part… yeah, that’s right, the sex scene (and it isn’t even real, they’re actors (playing actors in the movie).

If nothing of note is happening there is a 0% chance that a parent will walk in. If the movie is in the middle of a sex scene, the chances of parentus interruptus is 100%.
