It sucks to be left-handed when you can’t find the right equipment for you as everything is meant for the “normal” people.

It’s only a benefit to ‘look different’ and find out that the PE department doesn’t have a glove for lefties or something and you get to skip out on some sport you hate.

I’m not left handed, but my mother and my brother are. I was reading a book once, about connecting with your right brain in order to better tap into artistic talent, and it was saying that left-handed people still house their artistic/abstract/whatever intelligence in their right brain, even though their left side is more dominant rather than their right. The only case where this is thought to be different (and people get to research this stuff too lol) is in the left-handed children of left-handed mothers. So i guess my brother has a backwards brain.

I’m working on using my left hand. It’s legible, but not great.

I typically just comment with “Oh, you’re left-handed. That’s cool, I don’t see too many people who are.” The question seems redundant to me and the others seem a little ridiculous.
