Hey, try being my mom. She’s a 5 1/2 wide. A whole size smaller then me. Shoe companies in America have STOPPED making any shoes under size 6 because the average women’s shoe size is an 8 narrow!
Your shoes may not be attractive, but at least they still try to make shoes in your size.
I swear, if I ever get famous one of my side companies will be a company that makes affordable custom made shoes for women who are hard to fit. (One foot bigger then the other for instance.)

I can see it.

I’m a 6 1/2 Wide. When shopping for women’s dress shoes it usually turns out that the one shoe with a heel short and thick enough for me to walk on, with plenty of arch support, cushioning on the bottom, and a rounded toe – they never have it in a wide. Narrow, regular, sometimes a wide 7 or even a wide 7 1/2. But never a 6 1/2 wide.

So the one pair that would be comfortable, they never have in my size!

I have been an RSS subscriber for over a year, but this crappy form of Venn diagrams where every two-set-intersection is just a negation of the third has become overwhelmingly common, and this one is the last straw.

And for the most part, manufacturers don’t even seem to know how to make dress shoes over size 10. They seem to think it’s like sewing two size 5′s together… feet *do* get wider as they get bigger. ò_ó

or you try on the next bigger size and its great except it is too loose
