Something, something, something…Venn Diagram. Something, something, something…size of circles.
I guess people:
1) never learn that you can’t demonstrate quantity with venn diagrams
2) sleept in math class and dropped it as soon as possible.
How can I explain this…. You are basically being very cute and adorable by naively expecting every graphic that looks like a venn diagram to conform to certain rules you know such diagrams to have. Then, just as adorably, you get upset because a diagram goes against your expectations. You’re adorable because you obviously don’t realize that the rules you’ve learned exist for certain practical reasons, and that those being unimportant here, such an expectation is unnecessary. If you want, this is not a venn diagram, per se. The most adorable part is that you do recognize that this diagram conveys something about quantity, you just don’t want it to be *allowed.* Well, it’s allowed because it succeeds. Duh.
