Well, it really depends on your definition of “good spot” I guess … if by “good”, you mean “comfortable”, then I guess you’re kinda missing the point of “hiding”?
It happens! Last year at my birthday party, we were playing hide-and-seek at about 11pm, and my friend and I had the best hiding spots, that were in plain sight. We actually had to reveal ourselves because everybody gave up.
I’ve done it before, and yet I still somehow had to go when we started.Thought I was done.Maybe it’s the excitement of the game that makes us do it?It was my favorite game as a kid and I was damn good at it.The potty thing still didn’t stop me,until I had to run. That was the only way someone caught me is if I had to go :/
The other spot I was thinking of was actually in the ceiling (there is a spot where you can go through the drop ceiling and climb over onto the top of a concrete separator), but that would have been too hard.
… when I was 6 year’s old I was playing hide and go seek with my dad and younger brother and I was so excited crouching in my spot behind the piano that I had an accident…
You know, I agree that college students are notoriously immature, but I wouldn’t connect that to playing hide and seek? Is enjoyment simply off limits after a certain age? What’s the cut-off point for game-playing?
Once, I hid behind a pair of couch cushions that had been tossed aside. I won. Another few times, I actually buried myself inside a closet. Plus, we were all wearing dark clothes, backwards hoodies to use as masks, the works. And the house was dark. We kicked serious tail.
Why oh why, Americans, do you spend your life finding simpler words for things, and then take perfectly effective and efficient phrases like ‘Hide and Seek’ and add extra words for no reason!
When I was 11 , we invented Hide and Seek in the Dark. You have to confine the terrain to the house, then cover all windows, eliminate all light sources, and blindfold the seeker.
Yes I’ve thought long and hard about this ‘Good spot in plain sight’ dilemma. There are too many possibilities to factor in. The only way it can work is if the person hiding perceives it as a good spot but in fact is not a good spot. Though if you apply that to ‘Good Spot’ you also have to say the person perceives it as being in plain sight. Which begs the question why then would they think it is a good spot. They could just be really dumb though and think being in plain sight is a good spot.
If it’s a good spot, how come it is also in plain sight?
Was wondering the same thing.
same here
D’oh
this
is
SPARTAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
No, this is Patrick.
I also wonder how stupid the seeker has to be that the first person found isn’t the one in plain sight.
Should have been: in an obvious hide location, some where that would be the first place to look kinda thing.

I was about to say that!
Does nobody go potty before playing hide and seek?
I do now

My best one was in Sardines with youth group. Large Dark closet full of junk, strong shelves, I’m a small guy.
In the hour of so I was up there before I pretty much deliberately gave away where I was, I actually managed to get comfortable up there.
The other spot I was thinking of was actually in the ceiling (there is a spot where you can go through the drop ceiling and climb over onto the top of a concrete separator), but that would have been too hard.
Some kids hid in the roof in our house one day. We located them easily by the crash as they fell through …
Yeah, some kids hid in the roof of my house, too. But we located them by the smell two months later.

… *backs away slowly*
I haven’t played since college where the seeker wore a scary mask
It’s nice to know how mature people are at college

That first sentence wasn’t supposed to be a question.
i pee when i hide but happened only twice and i never loose
I suppose that hiding in someone else’s bladder would be a good spot, but I don’t know how you’d fit in there.
O.O
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (fine i over laughed a little)

Yarg. I agree with the puzzlement over how a “good spot” is in plain sight. That fails, sir or madam.
Yeah, the good spot in plain sight destroys it.
How come I don’t see Narnia on here anywhere?
I like it. it`s true

You made that last one up? Nobody could tell.

meh, when we played at school (outside) I just peed where I hid…
This dumb graph makes no sense.
The graph doesn’t make sense but I feel less weird knowing I’m not the only one that ALWAYS suddenly had to pee during hide and seek.
At least this one didn’t have the word “paradox” in the title. A small comfort, however.
My god this is so true! something about hiding always makes you need to pee!
Is anyone really comfortable when they have a full bladder?
not a good spot if your in plain site ._.
still this reminds of childhood and ja tru dat xD
This is just for the people who really suck at hide and seek!

one time i hid in a bathroom to rectify that problem. If I’m remembering correctly, I won.
