Bugs… Are big in Denmark? Heh.
Once, I was in Italy, and I saw a spider half the size of my head. I asked if it was a toy spider, and it wasn’t. It was friggin’ huge. And I’m danish.

I was at a time in a summerhouse, I think it was either in Lønstrup eller Ebeltoft, and we saw a spider, about the size of an common alarm clock, maybe a bit smaller, but I was freaked out. Arachnophobia…

They’re not always small.
At a time I saw a really, really big spider.
And if you’re not Dane or has been in Denmark, I’d say that you haven’t got a clue of how big bugs are here!

Denmark has forests as well. Not as big as the ones in Sweden, of course, but there still are some.

agreed i live in aus, just move the starting point up to darn big, and you are about right, only 2 weeks ago, i locked up the shed and on the way to the back door i came within an inch of a golden orb spider, incredible looking, absolutely harmless, that still doesn’t stop me from hating spiders. I have seen a fair amount of golden orb spiders (named for their golden abdomen) and this one was genuinly about 2x the norm. then the spiders you get in your shower, not much bigger, well quite big, but its the hair that does it. DAMED HUNTSMAN’S. the one spider that im not freaked out by is the redback, it looks harmless and is relativity small like an inch when just chilling, but its venom is realy bad for you near fatal, WHY IS EVERYTHING BACKWARDS IN AUS, apart from sharks, and crocs, big is bad.

Some of our spiders are pretty big, in my oppinion. At least one heck of a spider I saw at my boyfriend’s house. I’ve seen lots of big spiders at my house too, and at the surrounding areas
