    *claps* True that, true that!

  2. bibliotechnique says:

Right on!!!! However, I would have added a slice for “Make-up That Makes You Look Like A Ho”.

  3. penguin_man says:

That’s what they contain? I’m glad I never decided to read one.
*thanks the lord for removing his temptation*

  4. Rose says:

Yeah, there are barely any quality magazines for today’s youth. Luckily, I’m surviving mu childhood with a subscription to the spiderman ultimate magazine.

That’s actually a lot more green than I thought there’d be.

  7. Lolina says:

actually half of teen magazines (at least American ones) are ads. and “trend report” fads are “reported” 8 months after the french ones have. PIECES OF ******

  8. moooooooooo says:

This, except the “slutty clothes” part, is the reason I stopped reading teen magazines early.

    • boo says:

      FAIL.
I hate you and your graph. It’s too true to be funny. That just makes it sad.

Now excuse me while I slit my throat with the Justin Beiber Special Release Magazine Vol 1.

  10. kelly says:

To be fair, a lot of magazines in general aren’t geared to inform or be useful, but rather to appeal to whatever stuff entertains the potential reader. Funny how when females obsess over some guy, it’s viewed as juvenile and shrill, while when males obsess over some girl, it’s viewed as natural.

    • Girlysprite says:

      Good comment there.
But I find that a lot of things that teen girls fancy are generally viewed as stupid by the internet population. I guess it is because most commenters are guys, or people way beyond the target age of this teen stuff.

  11. Ells says:

You forgot advertising for makeup/perfume/stuff no-one needs. That’s quite a big percentage!

  12. Him says:

Are you talking about the cover or what’s inside?

Because, frankly, I’ve only seen the covers of these “magazines.” These alone make your eyes want to leave their sockets.

  13. EnigmaticPenguin says:

You forgot to make about 75% of that graph advertisements.

  14. blackiekat says:

guh, i never read Magazines anyway…if i did they’d be Mangas not Magazines lol

  15. Lauren says:

I’m a teen and frankly I just pick up some french magazines and of corse my glamour oh I love my mags to much icky justin beiber :P but i do love twilight….. i could deal less with the quizes

  16. Gothic says:

    So, so true.
    So, so disappointing.
