This is more true for some than it is for others.
I always read the comics first, then do the crossword puzzle, so yeah I’m off the chart.
I’m about as fast as the movie guys when reading a slip of paper just handed to me.
I read very fast and I’m very good at spotting keywords
Haven’t seen Your name in the credits lately… ;D
Well, of course you wouldn’t. The movie studio programs keep misinterpreting “d4m4s74″ as a bit of errant code and excising it.
that’s because they use my real name (the studios don’t want me to post it here though because of reasons unknown to me)
because you’re clearly a robot.
it took me 2 seconds to read this graph
Had to take a coffee break, did you?
And it only took me 1 1/2.
In a REAL real life: at least an hour. Just skipping most bits and only reading the headlines and a few interesting articles here and there doesn’t count as “having read a newspaper”.
Not really true at all for many people. I constantly astonish people who watch me read with the speed I do it at. Speed reading courses are often required for people in positions where they read a lot every day, such as politicians or executives. Brain chemistry has an effect too.
Movie timing is often somewhat compressed, but I’ve rarely found it to be unreasonably so.
