  1. DT says:

This happens to me all the time from the other POV. Things that are not working are afraid of me – they know if they work, I can’t fix them..

    • AJ MOHO says:

it just happened to my computer. My uncle (university Tech Guy) came to fix my computer, it was working. when he left, it crapped out again.

  2. Sally says:

How about your spell check is not working? Technician has an “h” in it. Or maybe it’s the brain function not engaged properly?

  3. TheObject says:

You should have him look at your spell checker.

  4. ... says:

    tecHnician fail

  5. humor me says:

I have that problem at the doctor’s. Does that count too?

  6. biggianthead says:

what is a tecnician? its annoying when graphs with obvious errors such as this one make it through

  7. Phlegmboy says:

In the industry it is known as Murphy’s First Law of Technical Support: It will not work until you seek professional support at which time the problem will resolve itself 90% of the time.

    • Kat says:

In my case, it’s about 99.9% of the time. This goes for more than computer issues too. It always happens when I take my car in for something minor but very specific, like a noise or a smell…

  8. skystrider says:

yep. Once my sister was trying to open the dvd player. She spent five minutes pressing the button and turning it on and off. I got up, pushed the button, and it opened. XD A few days later she had the same problem. This time I just got up and looked at it and it worked. LOL!

  9. Ilove2learn says:

Didn’t we have this before? Word-for-word?
I’m not complaining about it, I’m just pointing it out.

  10. Krakenen says:

Yeah – that’s what happens. Us techies call it an ‘aura.’ It inspires fear in electronic devices. That’s why all equipment but ours works well.

  11. Tech Lady says:

yeah, so my first thought (as others have pointed out) was “well santy your stuff doesn’t work cause you can’t even spell technician.”

  12. quote says:

    Missing H there

  13. Pedant says:

Not to mention the confusion between “doesn’t work (as said)” and “doesn’t work as said” (meaning it doesn’t do what you told the technician, or in other words: it isn’t broken). Fail graph is fail.

Just who moderates these things anyway?

    • buh says:

I don’t know, but between the re-runs and the lack of quality control I sure hope they’re not paying him. I can let the minor grammatical errors slide, not everyone is perfect. However, the “tecnician” – there is no excuse. Excel has spell check. Firefox has spell check. Everything has spell check.

  14. zomgponies says:

This also applies to musical instruments.

  15. mongonerd says:

    I AM TECHNOGEEK! OBEY ME!

  16. Bobnine says:

And then as soon as they leave it breaks again.

  17. Cletus says:

    My dictionernary done gone broken!

  18. fail says:

My internet connection was broken once, but it was working while talking on the phone 0.o so when calling support they can see that its working and wouldn’t believe that its not working
