repeat
Really? When was the original?
You know, when you see it on the vote page, and then see it here, that is not a repeat.
NO, that’s not what I meant!!!
I meant the chart repeats itself throughout the night!
That’s why you need the Clapper.
i have to admit i’m with nenepuze. you really need to start putting more than one word in a post before you can start having a go at someone for not understanding what your talking about.
I’m not having a ‘go’.
I was misunderstood. And how am I going to achieve ‘first’ if I am long winded?
You are very ambitious. You’re probably pretty successful in life. How many “firsts” have you attained?
Meh, I’ve had my fair share. Sometimes I even pass them up.
I thought my comment was rather clever, that the chart repeats itself though the night.
(And I am ‘joking’ about being first, in case some people still don’t get it)
Should have said Rinse & Repeat.
Dude, this is the graph of my dreams… there’s this one mosquito in my room that transforms into dust…
Maybe you’re just special? Like my neighbor’s kid who tries to bite his own ear. Or the guy who stands on the corner with a phone book and frantically flips through it when he sees you (like he knows your name and he’s looking up where you live). Maybe there’s no mosquito?
*settles in with popcorn and snuggie to watch the internet peoples tear this graph apart.*
Nothing to tear apart except that it’s more of a chart than a graph.
And it’s so effin’ true!
*Hey pass that bowl over here!*
“Yeah, share the boredom!” (sorry, i like “” more than **)
OH MY GOD… So F**king true… They can be small, but I bet that 90% of their body is their brains.
Hey! These guys are by no means small. Maybe where you come from… But here in Houston I’ve seen them suck a doberman dry in under a minute. Nasty bastards.
Why is it always Texas…?
Bush.
Damn those Ninja Mosquitos!
Approx. 150 million years of evolution vs. You. Guess who wins.
From an evolutionary point of view, mosquitoes are older than humans, so according to this logic we should win. Unfortunately, as we all know, this is not the case, although at least some species were at the brink of extinction after massive use of DDT in the 40s and 50s. However, in the not-so-far future we should be able so solve the mosquito problem once and for all using an engineered plague. THAT’S what I’d call evolution, suckers (literally).
That is the stupidest thing I’ve read all month.
Mosquitoes are older than us in evolutionary terms, so THEY should win.
Mosquitoes WERE NOT at the brink of extinction for DDT use.
An engineered plague is what you call evolution? More like moronity.
Since when do mosquitoes buzz?
since when they lodge themselves in your ear canal of course.
why has no one pointed out the immense spelling failure? “Manoeuvres?” Seriously?
Because it is a British spelling and is correct.
Pwned. Jolly good, too.
“Because it is the real English spelling and therefore correct”
^ Fixed ^
“Because it is A BRITISH spelling and IS correct”
Darned kids, messing up thier qoutations.
Here’s the thing about mosquitos. You can only hear them when they are really close to your ear, and when light is introduced, they land on the nearest dark thing. So, if you want to kill the mosquito, look for it on the nearest dark thing by your head. They are usually hiding there.
Good.
*runs to go get bowling ball, places it on pillow beside me*
Mosquitos are attracted to: Blood, milk, warmth and moisture (bad news for obese pregnant women who’ve fallen down the stairs). Therefore, soak a sponge in warm milk, drip blood onto it, coat it in PVA and leave it on the radiator – Voila! Instant mosquito trap!
Lol… Best comment ever. xD
Ah, see? You should do what I do. Wait for it to buzz into your ear, wait for it to land. Wait another second, and THEN smash it. Your ear may sting a little, but it’s worth it.
EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! DAMN MOSQUITOES
What you gotta do is pick a strategic spot from which you can see most of the room, mostly a corner. Then, with all the lights on, wait. Eventually, it’ll fly into your field of view. Start tracking it, focus on it intensly and keep following it until it lands. Then smash it as hard as you can. This may take up to an hour, but the end result is very satisfying.
it is scary how much satisfaction we get from stalking bugs for extended periods of time and getting a righteous kill.
May I use a flame thrower instead?
Super soaker + lighter fluid + match
Using a vacuum cleaner also works well. :3
I. Just. Freakin. Hate. Mosquitoes!
those who say not to worry about the little things have obviously never tried to sleep with a mosquito in the room.
so that happens to EVERYONE?
Not me. All these tactics don’t work.
So what I do is I lie still and wait: when it’s buzzing that means its heading in for the “kill”. So I wait till it lands on my face or arms, wait until I feel the first jab (very soon after landing).
then WHAM – dead mosquito, no mark.
You really have to be Bene Gesserit to nail one of them like that.
Happens to me a lot!!…..i cant stand the buzzing so i stay up and search for the little bugger…..9 out of 10 times i was able to find it and kill it. B)
That is so true… xD
not funny, not even sensible.
fail!
That sucks. I’ve never had the problem.
Was that an intended pun? If so, good job!
That is all.
