I think this graph is being taken a little too seriously; although, those spelling errors ARE annoying. This graph probably could have been improved by removing “loser” from the y-axis.

Yeah, this graph does pretty much sum up the mindset of immature kids who are insecure in their own sexuality, are overly worried about how they’re percieved by others, and allow their opinions of things like sexual orientation to be swayed by peer pressure. As well as accurately representing their ability to spell.

That’ll be why people are taking the piss out of it.

Well, perhaps if the author bothered to spell-check he’d have better luck with the ladies and wouldn’t smack of jealousy?

It is true though. Since I came out of the closet my female company has increased 300% pretty much all the time.

The eye-candy guys are usually threatened by you, though, so you still end up jealous – of the straight guys that can just have a beer with the guys without it getting awkward.

I wonder if the reference to gay is simply that if they are hanging around with a large group of girls, they might think that they’re one of that group, whilst with a single girl makes them look like a boyfriend? I still agree that the axis are in the wrong order, and that would make that clearer.

the massively poor construction of this graph is evidence by how many people have misunderstood the “gay:more girls” connection. that’s on top of the “0 girls” option, the erroneous assumptions about the linearality of this issue, the sexism, the genderism… (whew, there’s a lot, isn’t there?)

at the very least the axes should have switched, but i think not only is a different kind of graph called for (depending on what the grapher’s real message is), but probably a remedial course in statistics.

maybe this graph should simply be moved to the fail site.

BIG fail. Why isn’t “millionaire” spelled correctly, or even all on one line?

Also, how is it there is no middle ground between an “okay guy” (with 1 girl) and a “player” (with 2). You can’t be a great guy with 1 girl? Or a great guy out with his girlfriend and a mutual female friend? Furthermore, most pimps have more than 3 hoes, and I bet the number of millionaires with 4 women is much smaller than you think, probably a tiny, tiny percentage. I don’t even want to get started on the “Gay” (with 5 or more) category…
