The graph declines even faster when you are in a meeting while working for a government agency. I lost my will to live in those meetings is barely over an hour. Thank goodness I quit working for USDA and got a fun job!

For me a meeting is a mixed bag, it’s nice to escape from the stupids who have already been sold the impossible but it generally means I trying to explain to a different set of stupids just *why* what they want is impossible, usually before the sales person sells it to them anyway.

In my opinion the graph should get to “Kill me now!” stage a lot quicker, call it 5 minutes to give yourself time to judge who you’re dealing with and loose the will to live.

as far as I can tell, this is true only the first time. the second time you anticipate the long meeting and immediately go into “kill me now” mode even as you grab your coffee before the meeting.

Not true where I work at. I work in a warehouse, so when a meeting comes up, its great, as its time spent relaxing instead of running around like a headless chicken.

I am leaving this comment from hour 9 of a 13.5 hour budgeting meeting… on a Friday. With a 20 min ‘chew and talk’ lunch. After nearly the same every day since Monday. I am now to the level of being distracted by shiny things.
