    • Steve says:

Fail. I’m tired of these graphs that just take a shot at somebody. The only people who might like this are people who hate Dane Cook (or whoever the target is). Other than that, there’s nothing enjoyable about it. It’s not funny and it’s not clever. I don’t have a problem with taking shots at people, but at least put some thought into it. (Plus, it’s just another misuse of the Venn Diagram.)

      • forge says:

Dane Cook is fun to take potshots at because he’s utterly everywhere and he’s utterly not funny at all whatsoever. He’s like pop music or anything else in popular culture that gets marketed like that – no useful content whatsoever, but you still can’t get away from him to save your ass.

      • Homer says:

Yeah, but the audience of people who hate Dane Cook is pretty big, especially in his home town.

        • feckineejit says:

His older stuff was funny, but he needs new material.

          • dualnom says:

Agreed. His stuff now is still kinda funny, but his old stuff was the best. And I can see why people dislike Dane Cook (His jokes go a little too far sometimes) But I don’t like it when people knock him. I respectfully ask whoever made this graph to take it down. Or is the staff could.

            • JTK says:

Don’t be such a whiny douche.

            • dualmom says:

              Take it down!?!?! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

“could the staff here please remove the thing that makes fun of someone I like? The things that make fun of stuff I don’t like are fine, but please make sure the things I don’t agree with are kept far, far away!”

Shut up and deal with it.

Besides, Dane Cook ISN’T funny AT ALL, and it’s not because his “jokes go a little too far.” They’re jokes, they’re supposed to go too far. There are much funnier comedians out there that go further (and many that don’t) than Dane Cook. He’s a putz.

      • Nachooozzz says:

Steve is a douche and Dane Cook IS NOT FUNNY!!!!!

    • AngelMax says:

I don’t know what people like about Dane Cook. He’s good-looking, but that’s about all he’s got.

My official favorite comedian is Kyle Cease. Just thought I’d drop his name here…

      *drop*

    • mjc says:

      Win indeed. Dane Cook sucks.

  1. KaBooM says:

Dane cook sucks. And so does Steve. ;)

  2. Onion says:

The green circle should be smaller.

  3. CrashTestGenius says:

    This is truth.

Although his older stand-up bits were really funny. It’s just now he plays to the college crowd like a cover band made of 40-year-old men who only know Journey, Poison, and Bon Jovi. And he’s ripped now, but not in a sexy way – more in a Hulk/Carrottop, there-is-no-reason-for-you-to-have-those-giant-muscles way… because you’re a comedian.

That being said, he’s probably the only single male comedian that still gets laid.

He may have something there…….. nah.

  4. Caylee says:

Steve, i shall make a graph for you one day. plus ill make sure to misuse some other graph that i dont know the fancy name for.

    Dane cook blows.

  5. wtf says:

Dane cook is one of the few stand-up comedians on TV regularly these days that actually make me laugh. A lot of people seem to hate him, which I’m not even going to pretend to understand. It seems really wierd to devote so much energy on a comedien. Perhaps we need a carrot-top-he-man-woman-hater’s club?

    • Sara says:

I don’t like this post whaaaawhaaaaa.take it down now!!! Besides it is diametrically opposed to the actual empirically based reality and a misuse of the current medium of conversation.

    • FecalMatterFace says:

All Dane Cook is complain about people really loudly and over-exaggerated and run around with his shirt off…You’re right, HILARIOUS.

  6. Dr. Crit says:

Because of this, im never coming to failblog (lolcat, sports, etc.) ever again

  7. VaporTimes says:

I think the overlapping of the 2 circles is a little to small, I’ve seen plenty of funny comedians on tv, but i agree completely that dane cook isn’t one of them

  8. Dane Cook says:

    THERE’S ONLY ONE OCTOBER!!!!!!!!

  9. Rimo says:

from this we learn there are as many funny comedians as there are comedians on television! all we have to replace the unfunny ones on tv with the funny ones..

  10. gloworm says:

Dane Cook is the drunk douchebag at a party that HAS to be the center of attention by being as obnoxious as possible. He just emanates an air of trying way too hard.

  11. morella xx says:

Unless Dane Cook is multiple comedians at once he should be a point, not another circle. And I also agree that the overlap is far too small.

    Bad Graph.

    • Homer says:

No, he is not multiple comedians at once. He does, however, suck in so many different ways at the same time that his suckness alone counts multiple times, therefore, the graph is correct in that regard.

  12. BattleCry says:

    Point of graph?

    Dane Cook is not funny

    Graph is 100% correct.

  13. Beatus Mongous says:

    What?

    And then blend back in.

  14. deadinfrance says:

Who the heck is this guy? And should I duck now??

  15. Ashton says:

    I think he’s really funny.
I just watched Vicious Circle the other day on HBO and laughed my head off.
    Oh well.

  16. MK1K says:

He’s not bad, But TONS of comedians on TV are hilarious. Jim Gaffigan anyone?

  17. Chuvel says:

I think Dane Cook is hilarious. People need to realize, that just like there are different styles of music, there are different styes of comedy. Dane Cook’s jokes reflect awkwardness and circumstance. He tell stories about events that are familiar to everyday occurances that no one pay attention to. He capitalizes on the random thoughts you have in your head, like “Man, I know it’s bad, but I LOVE when someone gets into a car crash.” He plays to the crowds who understand his random, geekyness. He’s created lingo that has become trademarked by anyone who’s ever loved his work.

The guy that does the Achmed the Dead Terrorist I think is not funny AT ALL. That’s just my personal prefrence of comedy. I think one liners are funny for like 5, then it’s lame. Again, just my prefrence.

I believe a major part of his haters are people who just hate him cause it’s cool. I’m a fan, and I could care less about what people think. I’ll like him AND his muscles all day if I like :-0

  18. Savananh says:

    watever Dane Cook is hilarious

  19. mfb412 says:

Holy hell i miss George Carlin :(

  20. moooooooooo says:

Dane Cook will never be George Carlin.

  21. flarb says:

Graph is correct. Funny is Jim Gaffigan, David Cross, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jeff Ross, Doug Stanhope, Louis C.K., etc. Dane Cook is funny to people who wear Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, John Deere, and people who have their initials as stickers on their cars, and all those people’s parents. You know, people who say “like” a lot and who think Bud Light is the beer to drink, and people who listen to Dave Matthews Band.

  22. Danecooklover says:

I love Dane Cook and so does your MOM.

  23. SonicGTR says:

EYI HAET DAYN KUUC BICUZ SETH MECFARLUN TOHLD MI TU AM I KUUL YET?

  24. WatermelonSlushie says:

I used to think Dane Cook was funny too for a while until I realized he ripped off so many other peoples’ material. Now I laugh my ass off to Daniel Tosh.

    • Superbelt says:

      Yep, he’s blatant thief.

Adding that to him being a complete tard on stage, as others said he just tries too hard. He wants to be coked up Robin Williams, but it’s all an act, not reality like it was for Robin.

EVERYTHING about this guy is manufactured. He’s the N’Sync of the comedy world.

  25. David says:

    |Graphs that are on this website|Graphs that are funny|

This one should fit into neither.

  26. Mcgyvr says:

    *Disappears*

  27. Torus2112 says:

    Let the Flames begin!

Seriously though, I like him more than you, but I think you’re right about people not liking him. I’ll accept any day that he’s not your thing, but there’s absolutely no reason to put energy into hating him, or even any legitimate criticism of how he does his job.

The one thing that comes close is I heard he steals jokes, but with claims like those are hard to exclude coincidence, etc.

    BTW, You’re a Riot.

  28. luckie6duckie says:

WTF? Why is everyone always dissin’ on Dane Cook? I love that guy!

  29. JWizzy says:

SUPER EPIC WIN!!! Dane Cook steals jokes. He steals jokes so hard that he is the Carlos Mencia of stealing jokes – even more so than Carlos Mencia is the Carlos Mencia of stealing jokes. Don’t support joke thieves!!! What makes Dane Cook suck even more is that he’s not even funny – and he steals jokes. How lame is that?

  30. Tart says:

That little spot in the middle where they meet up is Demitri Martin.

  31. Eh. says:

To be honest, lol. Dane Cook’s “circle” sound be half of the Comedians on TV circle.

  32. forge says:

?? I fail to understand your logic. I dislike current popular music because it’s either (a) a teenaged girl with stick legs going “meep meep meep” through a computer, or (b) a 20something guy with a shaved head and NO musical talent groaning through a computer. There is no musical talent involved in modern popular music. It is popular because it is marketed, very much in the way McDonald’s and Subway barely qualify as food, but are the most popular food outlets in the US, and “reality” television is mind-rotting crap for the braindead, but people f*cking watch it anyway and talk about it on the talk shows and post about it on Facebook (another wasteland devoid of content or intellect).

I like music that was created by people who have musical talent and have a desire to use that musical talent to express themselves. I couldn’t care less if it’s obscure or old or popular or if some kid with an Internet account thinks I’m a snob. And I don’t think Dane Cook is funny because he isn’t funny. At all. He’s just not. And many, many people agree with me. The guy can’t even hold a candle to Drew Carey and we all know how lame HE is.

  33. Envy says:

    Scariest thing ever…

I was reading the comments here and suddenly Dane Cook is on TV… and he’s never on Dutch TV.

  34. Jon says:

Only funny ones on tv are Ron White, Bill Engvall, and Frank Caliendo

  35. TheoThoughts says:

Nice, but I think there should be a bigger overlap between the two big circles, possibly shoving Dane Cook further away from the overlap.

  36. Anonymous says:

Agree with this graph 100%. Dane Cook is not funny!

  37. Kelly says:

Ya I agree with you. I really don’t think he is that funny at all.

  38. FunnyComic says:

Dane Cook is hilarious! Stop being jealous cause he’s more popular then you are. That is all.

  39. mona tamimii says:

    I want too ….. :.mm::
