This is true. But some people are actually good at telling/repeating jokes, hence all the comments above disagreeing with the graph.

This is illogical though is it not? If when I tell a joke it is awful, how could the one hearing it take it as funny? Does this apply to all, because then the one telling me a joke will make it awful and when I hear it it will not be awful.

No, I think the idea of this is that it’s a subjective thing; a lot of people think they’re bad at telling jokes.
