  2. Fabian says:

    FAIL OP

    *first*

  3. matty says:

that was only their early work. later on they got all deep and awesome…..heck, they were always awesome.

    • TacoGuy says:

They went from “She Loves You” to “I Am the Walrus” to “Come Together”…the only band in history that started out good and got BETTER

      • nathan says:

        dont forget yellow submarine

        • Jake says:

          Yellow Submarine was just Awful.
Dont get me wrong i love the beatles.
They just wrote it to give Ringo something to do

      • oboeplum says:

whether you think that depends on what music you enjoy. if you like proper rock music then you might think that they got worse(personally i like all music as long as it’s good so i think they’re Just awesome.)

  4. gloworm says:

I notice the “yeah” slice is 3 times the other individual slices thereby illustrating the correct ratio of “yeah’s” to the other listed words in the refrain of that particular song.

  5. hee hee says:

YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!! and I LOVE every second of it!

  6. Lilithtn says:

    LOL! Excellent.

  7. Stephanie says:

I really feel there should be a project that attempts to chart every Beatles song.

    I call not Revolution #9.

  8. zappafrank says:

    Needs more Eddie Murphy’s “man”

(I wonder how many people will even get the reference)

  9. Pants_Mcgee says:

    They say “yeah” 29 times.

But by Revolver, and Rubber Soul their music got deeper.

  10. ARDEW says:

I believe there should be a venn-diagram of “People who make fun of the beatles” and “People who have listened to more than 3 seconds of the beatles” barely crossing over.

    OP is a fail.

    • meh says:

so do you think people who make fun of the beetles have or haven’t listened to more than 3 seconds of their songs? jw..

      • Beliskner says:

        Beatles*

      • Fawfulster says:

They obviously haven’t listened to them because in their early years they did Chuck Berry covers, then love songs (SHE LOVES YOU, P.S: I LOVE YOU, And I LOVE Her, etc.), then Rock (Rubber Soul and Revolver [Fav. Albums!]), the Psychodelic Rock (Sgt. Pepper & Magical Mystery Tour), Early Punk & Alt. Rock (which was not called that way back then) (White Album), and on to godhood (Let it Be & Abbey Road). BTW, They’re called the “Beatles”, not the “beetles”.

    • Maddy says:

I disagree. I make fun of the Beatles all the time and I own many of their albums. It’s more like “People who complain about the Beatles’ music being old and drug-obsessed and slow” and “People who’ve heard a song by them other than ‘Yellow Submarine’”.

Because honestly, I love the Beatles with all my soul, but Yellow Submarine is just not a good song. What the hell were you thinking, Ringo?

      • Hilary says:

Actually, that should be “WTF, Paul?” He wrote it (with help from Donovan, I believe). Poor Ringo always got stuck with crappy songs. Now, Octopus’s Garden, there’s just no excuse for that one. That was one of the two he wrote with the Beatles, the other being Don’t Pass Me By.

    • Sarah says:

It’s not making fun, it’s an explanitory graph. You know, like this site was originally all about before it degenerated into men vs women.

  11. Queen o' sarcasm says:

    Yeah…..

  12. Marekatt says:

Oh my BOB! Someone actually made a graph according to the site’s concept! Here are your two Internets!

  13. Hailey says:

I have a sneaking suspicion that the creator of this graph works for Starbucks.

  14. $19.99 says:

A graph about music on graphjam? wtf?!?!?!

  15. SigSauer says:

    I <3 The Beatles.

  16. NP says:

The ratio really only applies to the choruses, as “she loves you” is sung several times in verses as well. So, maybe more like 1/3 of the graph should be “yeah”? I don’t know. Fun graph, though.

  17. Lachlan says:

Someone has been hitting Rock Band too hard…

  18. buttercup says:

EPIC WIN!!! I LOVE YOU FOR MAKING THIS GRAPH!

  19. whitey138 says:

am i the only person who notices that this graph has been made at LEAST 4 times in the life of graphjam?

  20. poodle_face says:

You mean it’s not just someone hitting a bag of kittens against a wall?

    Who knew!

  21. ItsJohnTricks says:

ITT: a bunch of kids who bought rock band and now think they know all about the Beatles.

  22. :) says:

“she loves you yeah, yeah, yeah.” six words. Three of them are yeah, and three is half of six. This graph is correct.

  23. Ashley Kuchta says:

The Song “It Won’t Be Long” has yeah at least 70 times in it alone, so I say extremely accurate and hilarious!

  24. This Thing says:

The professor who interviewed me for college has this drawn on her whiteboard.

  25. beatlesluvr4life says:

rubber soul was their “crack album” and revolver was awesome, sgt. peppers is literally the best album EVER, magical mystery tour was alright, white album was almost all drugs, yellow submarine was pretty good, abbey road was one of their best, and let it be was awesome

  26. Sadie says:

for that song the graph is correct, but there is over 200 Beatle songs so yeah…………….
