About that, there are some ads I don’t know how to block with adblock plus. Right now on this page there are three ads using adobe flash player, which doesn’t give me an option to block them. Does someone here, by any chance, know how to solve this issue?

I’ve discovered really cool sites via the ads for cute vintage clothes! For that I thank this site. It’s very odd for me to actually click on a sidebar advertisement, but I’m glad I did. (Plasticland, ShanaLogic, and ModCloth are awesome!)

It also just doesn’t make sense, the ads are quite regional, I see mainly Dutch ads because I’m in The Netherlands. So yeah, I’m looking at a swine flu ad right now (or some ripoff to test how vulnerable you are), is that the one you mean?

The thing is..is the game is nothing like the adds..You build a town and build up resources to make an army.The add’s are freakin retarded.Just to try and get men to play it.Of course that’s bait and switch cause the guys that play it to see those women are getting hosed lol If it had not been for a friend telling me about it i never would have started playing and there is no way im spending even a penny on that game.
The game is free so you wouldn’t spend a penny on it. I signed up to it because a friend of mine recommended it. Beforehand I had ignored it due to the ads. Happy to say that the ads have absolutely no connection to the game at all. I’m guessing that they just use those pics to lure in the men.

Free or not, scam or not, I wouldn’t play Evony to save my life. I don’t care if it’s rated the most awsome game in the world, I would never give in to such shameless and pitiful advertising that the creators of Evony do.
On a different note, the creator of the graph forgot those sodding “Stay-at-home mom finds cure to yellow teeth” ads. Those are so annoying yet the only thing that keeps me from clicking on them out of sheer curiosity and annoyance is the possiblility that it might be a scam or something.
Urgh. I’m so tired of the Evony ads. I always get the “Mom finds cure to [yellow teeth, wrinkles, fat, etc.]! As seen on [every major network and talk show in the world]!” and the ones that really confuse me are the “Obama tells moms to go back to school” and it has a picture of somebody doing pushups or something.
Let’s see, right now I have: Newtek Web Hosting, a Verizon ad about Blackberry’s, some t-shirt company, something called Jing, I can haz tees, and an AOL ad with some cheerful looking people on it. I have an AOL email and they make me feel everything but cheerful.

all i have is imvu adds and of course 2 travian adds, i looked at that site and decided that it would have to be a no go for me. My add blocker chosses when it wants to work, much like everything on my stupid laptop, but hey, its better than those little adds that pop up after seeing your browsing history, those just confuse me

I just ran across this website and am at a total loss at what it’s supposed to do for people. From all the comments I’ve read, it sounds like almost everyone must have little to do to given what they are posting as nothing seems to make any sense. There appears to be nothing helpful for anyone that would like help on advertising, how to write ads, etc. I would appreciate it if someone would tell me what this site is about.
It is supposed to be funny you moron! Unfortunately, from what I’ve heard, their ad campaign is working. Even with Adblock, I can only block about half of their ads, the rest are flash animated or something.

By the way, nobody should be playing that game. The graphics and game ideas are mostly stolen from Age of Empires and Sid Meier’s well-known Civilization series. In fact, up until the release, the project was supposed to be called “Civony”. A lot of the ads they use are lifted from different lingerie magazines, they have been spamming blogs on google with MOUNTAINS full of spam, and it’s run by one of the leading barely-legal gold miners/spammer (The guy who owns the company that does these things) in World of Warcraft- and many other games

I half expected some sort of mmorpg. Turns out it’s an mmorts. Tis fun to play since it doesn’t require too much attention at some point.
