  6. chatmort says:

    What about drunk people???

  7. nonamerican says:

This is only in America though. In Germany, people aren’t afraid to tell it like it is. They don’t beat around the bush.

    • Lucas says:

I’m American, with German heritage… and I tell it like it is.

    • Lili says:

My mother’s side is Irish, and believe me, they don’t have a problem telling anything like it is, or how they think it is. I remember being eleven and walking in on a conversation between my mom and her sister. They stopped talking when I walked in. I said, “What were you talking about?” My aunt reached up and patted my breasts and said, “Dese, my dear, we’re talkin’ about dese.” (in fact, they’d been discussing how to broach the subject of buying my first bra). Luckily, having grown up with my mother, that sort of thing didn’t faze me.

    • Devylan says:

Yeah, I don’t know about that. I hate beating around the bush with people, and I hate even more when people beat around the bush with me.

      • Devylan says:

Oh, and I don’t have German heritage. I do have Italian and Scotch/Irish, but really, what does this have to do with anything since I was born and raised *American*!

        • Nash says:

Nothing, but a lot of people like to bunch other people into groups and label them, because the complexity of reality is too much for their simple minds to handle.

Besides, chauvinism makes people feel better about themselves. If you lack self-esteem and can’t stand on your own, be an individual, just belong to a group and define that group as better than other groups, and you are automatically better than most people.

Not to mention bashing Americans is the cool thing to do. Though I suspect a those people who bash the US (at least in Europe) watch American movies, drink Coca-Cola, use American slang and whatnot.

  8. NP says:

This is chuch an awful graph!

  9. stockie says:

I agree with drunk people, they tell it like it is (until they fall over)

  10. HellHathNoFury says:

That’s what i hate about most people. I don’t win any popularity contests at work or the car club because honesty and kindness rarely walk hand-in-hand when dealing with a certain kind of people. But I’m not going to play the Politeness Game and smile and lie and be totally dishonest and have everyone know it. and I refuse to be friends with anyone that does it.
