Just because a dog is bigger doesn’t mean it will help you any sooner if its not trained to do so. It would probably just make more noise when it gets hungry and realizes you won’t/can’t feed it compared to the “pathetic” dogs you mentioned. That noise might help, of course, but it doesn’t make them any smarter, that’s for sure.

Everyone has their opinions, and they are free to express them. But when people start to think one is better, and they only say it because they like them, it is called being biased (I think).

You people really need to do a little research, and actually admit that the other animal are just as good. This area has gone beyond comments on the graph. If you want to debate on this, find something like a forum that is dedicated to that kind of thing.

I personally like cats better, and before you say I don’t have a dog, I do (in my family). God made every animal differently (don’t turn this into a religion debate too, I have enough of that from the Aethiests). We all know people prefer different things, but you don’t need to criticize others!

Now please, can we only comment on the graph now?

Another thing; my cats know when I’m upset; when I cry they come over and rub against me and paw at me. When I had a boyfriend who meditated, my old cat would be aware of when he “transcended” and immediately leave my lap and go to his. Those were the only times she voluntarily touched him. In my lifetime experience with cats (I’ve never lived without them) it seems like the relationship becomes more intense and more rewarding after 10-15 years. I’ve had two cats die at 20 y/o, and one lived until she was 25.

I can’t speak for all cats, obviously, but mine gets very concerned when you collapse. My sister and I were watching TV in the living room, and my cat was curled up happily in my lap. My sister said, “watch this,” and flopped down across the floor. My cat immediately jumped down, sat near my sister’s head (not on it), and looked at me. When I didn’t move, she meowed until I moved to check on my sister.

We discovered this behavior when my sister fell in the kitchen and got a concussion, and the cat notified my dad.
