I was really lookng forward to seeing this graph, but it was hyped wayyyyyy too much.

actually, that one had excitement six months ago, then everyone found out there is no plot a week before opening.

Yeah, I’d think the peak would hit a year or two before the opening, when the teaser comes out. After that, it’s all pretty much discouraging news.
i’ve been crazy excited about Harry Potter for a while now, i guess this graph doesn’t apply to geeks!

The first measurement of time should have been “Announced” and right up top, then down all the way one month later, THEN started where you did lol
If you count the Arrested Development movie, you can add two years of rumor before that.
