I used to work in a staples and we usually run out of them. btw buying staples in staples is not big deal i mean they shoul have some kind of discount for it.
A staple can be either a mechanical binding agent or a necessity. You could argue that the mechanical binding agent is staple of binding… in which case the common staple is a staple carried by Staple’s.
And if it were being used in a “horse house” you might say that in the stable, there was staple staple sold by Staple’s.
One time my boss went to the office supply cabinet and said “Why don’t we have any paperclips? There’s nothng but staples in here!” When I looked, we had plenty of paperclips, but they all said “Staples” on the boxes because that’s where we bought them.
I work at staples and people complain all the time because they can’t find actual staples because every thing says staples on the box. Glad I work EasyTech and not office supplies
I have a big, 150 sheet, electric stapler. Lights dim and the table jumps when the paper hits the switch. It doesn’t use standard sticks of staples. It uses a flat coiled belt of wire segments and folds them into staples as it uses them. I checked every store and internet supplier I could find for refills and the only place that had them was STAPLES.
LOL WTF? Have you even been to one? Why are you even complaining?
The purpose of STAPLES is to be a Business + Stationery supply store…
STAPLES is not an exclusive supplier of unique staples. They carry many more kinds of staples than other average retailers do, but dont expect them to carry everything. And as a matter of fact, in STAPLES where I work, we have almost half of the whole Aisle dedicated to various staplers and staples… And in case we do not have a particular “unique” kind of Staple that you are looking for, you can always special order it…
This Graph deserves -1, and I honestly dont see why u are bitc*in about STAPLES… If you cant find the Aisle where the staples are then try reading, not making lousy graphs…
Wow, this is lame. I worked at Staples and despite the aisles being clearly marked, if you still couldn’t find the staple/stapler aisle all you had to do was ask an associate. Whoever made this graph was trying to be clever but they just look like a moron. They would have been better off with a WalMart joke (they don’t sell walls! Harhar!)
they’re on the first half of aisle 5 on the left hand side. right under the staplers that are on display, which are slightly to the left and down from the big sign that says “5 – PENS/PENCILS – STAPLERS – GLUE.” well, its less glue and more a wide assortment of adhesives including glue, but also things like tape and rubber cement. We also have rubber bands on that aisle, and for those of you wondering, the back half is art supplies (left hand side) and learning tools for younger children such as flash cards and work books.
Well a store that exclusively sells staples would do great given teh economic climate..
What you find when you’re looking for depots at Office Depot — dropouts.
Well if it only sold staples, what would be the point?
Um… selling staples?
People need staples. And where better to go than a place called staples.
What, so it’s just one big warehouse for staples? Is it next to the Shoelace Emporium?
Yep
And post-it-note dispensers ‘r us.

Name: John Schmitt
Charged with stealing all the staples from Staples.
Staples don’t sell staples.
They really don’t-my Uncle works there.
Staples -doesn’t- sell staples.
Staples -does- sell staples. I bought a box of Staples staples yesterday.
My problem is that EVERYTHING in the store says “Staples”. Even the boxes of paperclips. Which come in boxes that look like boxes of staples.
Well, state the bloody obvious why don’t you.
Sixth!

You could, but I never would.
you get an A+ for understanding the reason the store is called Staples.
Okay, you lost me… I’ve had a few drinks so I’ll just assume that your response was clever… Indeed! Staples…
“Staple of Binding”… it sounds like something you’d find in an RPG. Maybe it’s a Staple of Binding + 1?
My 12th level Elven Rogue has a set of those… for his encounters with the lady elves deep in the dungeon.
Geez, 7th comment and no spelling error comments yet?
Didn’t read down that far.

That is hilarious.
Not unlike expecting Sweet Tomatoes to have decent tomatoes.
I like Staples. I was there today.
Staple- A major item of trade in steady demand.
See! They sell all kinds of staples! Not just staple staples, but staples that you’ll need in addition to your staples!
You’re not going to find any “h”s, though. Nope, none of those.
The Wheel of Fortune stores are two doors over. Consonants are free, but they charge $250 for vowels.

I see what you possibly did there…
Haha. That was actually pretty cute. Imposters. Lol.

Maybe people would find the staples if they went on the right f-ing aisle, adhesives. The solution to this problem: *read signs*

You forgot the significant percentage who go looking for “The Easy Button”

I always wanted to open up a hardware store next to a Wal-Mart and call it Door-Mart, at least until i got sued for it.
This would be funnier if Wal-Mart was spelled Wall-Mart, but it’s not. I guess you’d have to call it Dor-Mart.
GLOBAL WARMING DOESNT EXIST. find a reliable argument and i will refute it.
Damn the man! Save the Empire!
Staples.
Staples for stapler?
No.
Homonym, anyone?
Its the staples as in the staples of life; things you need, not staples like the metal ones sued to bind 2 things together.

You just never know what you’ll find in a stapler!
I HAVE SEEN THE WORD STAPLES SO MUCH IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE A REAL WORD ANYMORE >.<
BLECH!
