Oh, it is so disgusting when people talk on the phone or use their phone while using the restroom. :p
I totally agree on this one…maybe at home if that is the only time you have to talk (not likely) but i work in a large office in downtown cincinnati and there is always someone in there on the phone and pooping…..

Call center in Columbus. And yes, every time I’m int he bathroom, I feel kinda creeped out because I hear people texting while on the toilet.
Which is almost as creepy as the people who are on what sound like professional calls, while you can HEAR the delightful pooping sounds coming from their stall. *shudders* I don’t even want to talk to my boyfriend while I’m crapping. So being on a professional call while sitting on the john? Just… wow.
Seems nothing is sacred anymore.
people read book while sitting on the throne… might as well play solitaire, send text emails or surf on a black berry…

What about ridiculously loud breathing? Does that fall under “rude noises?”
Which is rude – the noise of bodily functions in a place designated for such, or someone’s commenting about it?

Agreed! I just wish the bathroom in my office didn’t have the acoustics of a concert hall! What’s with these silent bathrooms? Why couldn’t the architect have installed a loud fan or something? All that flushing becomes a drag, just to avoid being embarrassed by noises that one should feel justified in making in a restroom, for crying out loud!
I guess “rude noises” is a euphemism for grunting, farting, and/or poo splashes. Personally, I envy people who are un-self-conscious enough to poop at work.

What freaks me out more then the rude noises, is when you go into a bathroom and think no one is in the restroom then they cough, flush or spin the toilet paper holder. Scares the crap out of me. No pun intended…

And I don’t want to be in there trying to do my business when someone is in the next stall talking. That’s totally creepy! I would be extremely geeked-out if I was talking to someone on the phone and I heard flushing, etc.
