  1. James the Conquerer says:

Taste after cooking hot pockets = bubbling turd with frozen corn.

    Or something.

  2. flip says:

    true dat

  3. Gomo90 says:

haha I just ate some. this directly relates to my current situation :)

  4. jimbo says:

    jim gaffigan reference FTW!

    • whitey138 says:

ripoff of a mediocre comedian for the fail!

      • Sunshine says:

Doesn’t matter to me, it’s wonderfully laid out. But GJ should put the credit up under it.

Now the ubercrud XKCD one with the escalators, that I mind. That ruined the joke from the comic. But if you do it well and credit, I don’t care.

        • Rohvannyn says:

If indeed this is in relation to the comedian, then I suppose he should be mentioned. But on the other hand, hasn’t everyone who has cooked Hot Pockets encountered this problem at some time or other? It doesn’t have to be a ripoff, but it still can be funny.

(I don’t get this problem when I rotate them, but mine always rupture. Love the little reflector sleeves that come with the high-end pockets.)

          • Ninjinister says:

I don’t even know who this Jim Gaffi-whatever is, but I have complained about this very hindrance for about 10 years. Does that mean he ripped ME off? Doubtful.

      • AdamAnt says:

        blasphemy!

      • krkz says:

it’s not a ripoff if the whole point of the site is “Music and culture in chart form. Can you explain music and culture in charts?” …reading FAIL!

      • rastar4 says:

jim gaffigan is a better comedian than youll ever be so if he is mediocre then what does that make you

  5. LC says:

Haha! Cute. From a Jim Gaffigan bit:
“Is your hot pocket cold in the middle? – It’s frozen. But it can be served boiling lava hot. ….Will it burn my mouth? – It’ll destroy your mouth!”

    Credit your source, sir!
    Nice use though. ;-)

  6. goondar says:

    Proper reference FTW

  7. Dai says:

    Soo, so true.
    I like this graph. :D

Always that one spot in the middle that’s cold…

So true. I stopped eating hotpockets because of it. :P

How the hell are you cooking your hotpockets? You must be doing it wrong!

  11. Duke says:

Am I the only one who deep fries them?

  12. DrSolar says:

We can solve the energy crisis if we could just scale up MacDonald’s apple pie filling, as it gives out more heat than it absorbs.

  13. papajon says:

Read the directions me thinks. I’ve never had this problem.

Pop-tarts in the toaster, on the other hand, should be classified as too dangerous to handle by humans.

  14. Bix Nood says:

Maybe you should get a better microwave, or learn how to cook them better.

But how can anyone eat a hot pocket?

  15. jl5691426 says:

    Learn to cook real food.

  16. firebert says:

This is the corollary to the Jeno’s Pizza Roll Hypothesis.

  17. Ben L says:

    Watcha gonna get?

  18. Jefoid says:

This graph is true. I believe that cheese is the ultimate insulating material. Homemade pizza is still scalding hot a half hour after it comes out of the oven. I have the scars to prove it.

  19. rach says:

ahhh, so true! Creative diagram too

  20. bobbeh says:

if your pockets/pizza pops are frozen in the middle, just poke holes in the middle with a tooth pick. thats what i do

  21. Caesar says:

this is why i always put my hot pocket in the microwave for an extra 10 seconds or so.

  22. Dexaan says:

This graph overlaps GraphJam and OUAW – whaddya gonna pick?

  24. catgirl says:

My advice is to cook on it lower power for a longer time. That usually works out well for me.

  25. Boberto says:

You’re supposed to let it sit, to let the heat soak through.

    Being a stickler is fun!!!

  26. Ian says:

I see you got some inspiration from Jim Gaffigan.

  27. Nintendork says:

I just ate a Hot Pocket, and thought the same thing!

  31. Andrea says:

I saw this while eating one.

  32. Someone says:

This reminds me of the Melt-Downs commercial where the insane principal annihilates the intercom over a parking space…
    But I don’t know why…
