As an art student, I can confirm that this is indeed true.
Depends on your major. I can see this being true for painters, but not for artists of the digital age, like animators, 3D modelers, and graphic designers. They make the big bucks in the industry. *Animation major with focus on 3D modeling*

Yeah one of my 4th grade students has suddenly started using the term ‘hobo’ at least once a week. Not sure why it’s back all of a sudden…

There are exactly three artists that are not hobos, and two of them are conjoined twins (those two sisters on Discovery Channel, connected at the head where one wants to be a country singer and the other one pushes her around on a wheeled platform).

im in art school, and im dirt poor. if i was a practicing artist, then i wouldnt be, but i have random art supplies, books, and 20k tuition to pay, thus making me hobo

whats art collage iv never heard it called that, its art school. also 3d modelers and graphic designers are not artists, most art schools dont even offer those programs. i hate you all

The art school that I go to does offer a graphic design program, and they are artists.

If there are hoboes commenting on this, I’m going to very confused… Do the homeless generally own computers or internet capable phones?
Homeless guys go to libraries to warm up and use the toilet. Libraries also have internet connections. Therefore, hobos can indeed comment online.
