Cash for Clunkers was a way for them to try and control what car you get, this is controlling how much money you get. And now, with the health care bill, if we’re over 60 we “Are ready to die” and won’t recieve healthcare, and suppoosively medicare. While if he gets so much as a splinter he has a whole medical team on standby.

What I was referring to in that portion of my statement was that the news loves to report on attractive white girls that go missing: from Chandra Levy to Elizabeth Smart to Natalee Holloway. I was not implying that it is not important to report on or relevant to your interests, but surely it shouldn’t be made into weeks of broadcast material when there are more important things going on that affect the lives of more people. There is also the fact that the only “missing person” stories that are relentlessly broadcast are those about white, pretty females from middle to upper class families.

You’d have to be daft not to see that Obama’s entire agenda is driven towards nationalized industry (of all types). It couldn’t be more obvious.

Funny, I kinda feel a lot of major news places are sticking ot the Obama fluff pieces on purpose and not really applauding his daily policy moves on the rocket sled towards socialism we’re on. Me thinks some folks are starting to wise up and remember that we fought wars against this kind of blatant attack on our freedoms.

I would say that virtually all so-called “news” is more focused on reporting on pointless things like entertainment and celebrities than on actual news. The corporation-owned media wants the public to be more focused on extraneous garbage than on what our public servants are doing, not doing, or being lobbied and bought out by them to do. You have to wonder what they are trying to divert attention from when some little white girl goes missing and it’s all over the national news. Why would a war be reported on less than some actor or starlet ODing? Out of sight, out of mind.
