You’re husband needs to come take cooking lessons from my husband. DH loves to cook and is excellent at it. In fact, most of my male relatives and friends are good cooks, many of them better than the women. We have a saying in my family – every man needs to know where he belongs, in the kitchen!

I get ramen with no MSG from the azn store and my husband and I add all sorts of fresh & frozen veggies. One of our favorite meals! <3

That being said, I only cook dinner about once a week, because I work 6 nights a week.

No, some people have grown up enough to know how to cook for a family before they turn, say, 16. The only women and men I know that are living with someone/married/etc that can’t cook are the same ones that don’t know how to do laundry and don’t clean thier house because they were never made to do anything they didn’t feel like doing. Rather sickening.

I definitely disagree. My wife is an excellent cook, and she says she enjoys it. I do step in every now and again to show off my prowess at the masterful art of boxed couscous or Velveeta Shells ‘n’ Cheese, but I certainly enjoy her cooking more than any other I’ve found. Even blows any restaurant in town out of the water.

Funny, that’s what I’ve finally started doing, especially since he’s been unemployed now for about six months and seems to see no need to do anything at all around the house. The least he could do is cook so I don’t have to do that when I get home from work.

I also just cook what *I* want, which, coincidentally, makes him unhappy. We eat a lot of homemade vegetable soup and kale salads.

Poor baby hates it.

I think the Married part is true, but only if you’re the one who always has to cook it. I’d rather have a damn sandwich than stand in front of that freaking stove every night when I get home from work while hubby sits on his ass and watches TV and won’t cook even when I ask nicely. Not that I’m bitter or anything.
