  1. Dex says:

    So true yet so sad…

  2. Barb says:

I don’t usually kill my sims… I get too attached.

  3. Deathbal101 says:

    Oh, QUITE win.

  4. Sim says:

Why you want to kill me?

  5. BunnehK says:

    That’s completely wrong.
My friends and I were discussing this, and from a female POV we decided that as women we play TS in order to live out perfect lives which we cannot; and either fall in love and try and have everything good happen, or get jealous and have terrible things happen. Its like out very own soap opera that we’re in control of.

Did that graph mention boolprop? lol

    • Barb says:

That is scarily true. I just never realized it…

    • Shaid says:

It’s not COMPLETELY wrong… though I do agree that women do prefer to keep their sims happy. I cheat a LOT in the game, I’ve even downloaded hacked objects that help with that. My sims never sleep and hardly ever eat because they have a coffee pot that maxes out all their needs. The don’t have to study because they have another hacked object that fills all their skills bars, as well as their needs and makes them best friends with every sim in the game.

Modthesims2.com has been very, very good to me…

However I DO find myself killing sims, especially if it serves my story. Occasionally, I’ll need a sim to be a widower or widow… So I DLed a hacked object that instantly kills them: the Necronomicon. :-D Spontaneous combustion makes Shaid happy.

      • faetal says:

lol… I kill off sims so that I have a haunted lot to move my geeky sims onto so they can see a ghost…
Or I’ll kill off random families, every town should have a cemetery, and sims live too long to go about it natural like.

    • Kelly says:

nah, all the girls i know who play it and me do all the killing as well. starts off differently but you get bored quickly…

    • The Cat says:

Actually, my friend, who happens to be female, seems to mostly play the Sims 2 game merely for the amusement of watching her Sims die horrible, painful deaths. She even had a small house built solely for the purpose of burning the thing down, along with all Sims inside. This led to some odd conversations later on.

    • Sina says:

Yeah…before computers we did it with Barbies!

  6. SAD, REALLY says:

I Remember when I was in the 5th grade I used the tombstone thingy to make like 40 babies…Then walled em in and watched em die…..evil…

  7. ... says:

    Such a bad game.

  8. Ellie says:

I don’t FREQUENTLY kill my Sims, though I did trap a few in a room and set it on fire once….MAYBE twice…=D

    • Android says:

i dont kill much either, but once i killed a teen guy. my dad was convinced the game was “gory and graphic”.
      btw,
Has anyone tried a male preg. on it. the vid is funny.
so is the diologue that apears on a house where all the sims have died.

  9. jayjay says:

Am I the rare person who fits into the first two columns then?

  10. BreAnn says:

I play to make families, usually. I like to watch genetics play out.

  11. Potty Mouth Princess says:

    SIMS 3 ANYONE?
    June 2nd

    hells yes

  12. Kelly says:

you ever wonder if the whole human race is a game of sims? idk… if i was god i would totally do the same thing i do in the game. play with them a bit, make them do my bidding, watch them have sex, kill them and trap the bodies in a room so that death couldn´t find them… ya know, godly stuff.

  13. Flare says:

    Super House ftw.

  14. igloomccoy says:

We’ve seen this graph before, but in a pie chart. That’s pretty not cool.

  15. Jessi says:

    Let’s be honest.

It’s ‘Watch Sims Have Sex’, not ‘Watch Sims Make Out’.

    Other than that, yeah.

  16. Vega says:

    It’s simple.

    Man without life plays Sims.
    Man creates Sim.
    Man creates girlfriend for Sim.
    Man becomes God.
God becomes envious of Sim’s girlfriend.
God kills Sim and steals him girlfriend.

Women have forsight and create themselves in the first place without having to go through all that.

    • A person says:

      Objection!

      Man makes army of sims.

      Man becomes God.

God builds giant pool, puts TV in, leaves other sims in house.

God breaks TV, has sim fix, sets house on fire.

      ???

      God gains profit.

  17. tahrey says:

    i’ve never played sims…

but i have put far too many hours into Sim City and Lemmings back in the day. same effects.

….. some things are eternal :D
“nice city … wonder what it’d look like after a tornado?”

    • Ryan says:

I remember doing the same thing. I’d make a beautiful city, and then have one day where fires, tornadoes, UFO’s, and all else would just come in and level the place.

      Ah, good times.

  18. Flick says:

I love the sims and fit into all the categories. I mostly try and play properly but it’s fun to cheat and build huge houses from time to time.

I have created sims of people I hate and killed them off. That was therapy! I once tried to have someone killed by death by flies but after a while I just gave up. Anyone managed this yet?

    • I'm in your refrigerator, eating your brains. says:

yes, TRY THE BOOLPROP CHEAT!!! *whew* or make the roomreally, really dirty.

  19. MRBHV says:

ermmm…. watch your sims make out?…. use the cheat to move them infront of the kids school bus whilst they’re doing it, but watch them make out… what is wrong with you?

  20. Net says:

Nothing makes a bad day better than coming home, making Sims named after those who have offended me, and then killing them all!!!! *twitch, twitch*

But unfortunately, I’m with some of the others. The ones I make, I have a hard time killing. I get attached to my virtual ‘pets.’ I agree with the chart though — using cheats to make the most awsomest house in like ever! Or apartments I will never, ever be able to afford. Your call.

  21. yenn says:

I used to like trying out different ways to kill them. Drowning, burning, starving to death.. I loved how the sims that were alive would come and cry above the graves..

    I am not violent..just curious :D

    • iCandyiLoveiKill says:

I like to drown my sims and see how big a grave yard I can make…The the mourning does get on my nerves.
I love sims, its a great way to design your dream house, kill people you hate and do strange experiments.

  22. iCandyiLoveiKill says:

Now I feel like killing some sims

  23. DragonKatt says:

Um…I personally like making custom content…like my own hair and clothes. I also enjoy making movies and videos. I am a writer and comic artist as well, so if I am having trouble designing a character, the sims always helps out.

  24. R says:

I don’t kill my Sims.. IN fact, I’m so bad I won’t even let them age past adulthood! The rest is spot on though. :D

  25. halfcat says:

i think one of my favorites was a guy who came by and knocked over my trash can for no reason… so i had the graveyard keeper make friends with him, invite him over for a swim, and take away the ladder.

no on messes with my good sims’ trash can. ;P

    • C says:

I wish I had thought of that when I had a sim that would come past my house several times a day just to kick the damn trash can, it wasn’t my fault her husband liked my sim better than her…

  26. vmp says:

the only reason i played sims is so i could make two lesbian vampires do the nibbidy dibbidy. after that it got borring.

  27. Shadowgirl says:

While killing sims is fun (did that alot in sims 1) in sims 2 i like making up stories with my sims and also seeing how genetics make out too.

  28. Jessica says:

I am a girl and I have killed several Sims 2. I feel like I’m at an AA meeting.

  29. yenn says:

I also loved to make adult sims play with a dollhouse in sims 1 :D

That was before I killed them, of course.

  30. D says:

    So true XD

  31. LIGHTPIE7 says:

Once, I had a good family on sims… Then they all died because of my idiocy.

I accidentally put up… The sad clown picture… The clown then came to my house caused me and my family to get no sleep. my kids were then sent to military school, I was fired, and my wife and I died of exhaustion and lack of food.

  32. hahahahahahah says:

I don’t kill my sims. Once I tried in Bustn’ out. It was in the second place in the trailer. The room mate kept trahing the house so I locked him in the toilet. I felt bad for him so I put everything needed to survive in there and placed a toilet in the living room. LOL. My sims social thingy went down so I released the guy from the toilet.

  33. Amy says:

I do enjoy killing my sims from time to time-on the Sims 2, so easy to just dump them in a pool and watch them drown. But on the Sims 3 the “ultra speed” is so slow that you end up watching them sleep and at work and it’s like, there is no way I can kill you.
The money cheat comes in handy at times but I don’t constantly use it.
It’s also a way for me to live out fantasies, for example I created me with Emily from Skins and made them fall in love.

I once made Michael Bachelor on the original Sims live to be over 100 days old, and he died naturally. I feel that’s a good achievement.

  34. Sidrun says:

So true… Although I almost always resurrect the dead sims again to cause more trouble… They live like forever. *lol*

  35. Just_A_Girl says:

I actually have Sims 3, though shockingly I enjoy the Sims 2 more. Its overall easier to navigate. And yes, I do put my sims in their houses and burn them, but only if I don’t like them.
