Ramen is much higher in fat than spagetti, 30% fat is far over your desired average daily fat intake. Ramen is much more expensive than spagetti, do the math.

But it takes longer to cook. Solution: angel hair pasta.

tomato soup

i have a recipe that take 15 minutes including prep is about 100 caloriers a bowl and costs 31p (about 50c) a serving

and its so tasty i love it you. and could even turn it into a creamy soup by adding about 35g of creme fraiche and it would still be cheap- 42p (about 68c) and healthy – about 150 calories

There’s nothing wrong with MSG, it’s just a big over-blown scare. Quit buying in to the media.

Ramen isn’t really good for you, but other than the sodium content, which you really only need to worry about if you have blood pressure issues, its major negative is that it has no real nutritional value. So it’s not necessarily terrible for you, but by no stretch of the imagination is it healthy.

I’d say also Fiber One bars. If you buy them when they’re on sale and use a coupon, they’re like $1 per box (5 bars). Plus, at the risk of sounding like a commercial, they have 35% of your daily fiber, 130 calories, and surprisingly they actually do taste good.
