this is when we start to use an implement called a cook book. in it, we can find things called “recipes” which can teach us to make our favourite food items using ingredients that can be kept frozen, refrigerated or canned until time of use (although ‘salads’ are among the more perishable items). this not only reduces wasted food, but also cuts out preservatives and additives which make food less tasty.

I don’t think that is WHY people buy them, I think they buy it for reasons 1 and/or 2, but end up DOING 3 because they have no willpower.
