So it has 180% of comments?

• Dash says:

Thats just what I was asking

• Nick R. Bocker says:

1. This movie sucked because the blue guy’s penis was in every scene.
2. What if kids were watching this when the blue guy’s penis appeared on screen?
3. The blue guy’s penis was everywhere, which improved the quality of this movie.
4. My kid watched this movie and it had a bunch of bad scenes including a blue guy’s penis.
5. Did you see that blue guy’s penis?

40% of the above comments are about the quality of the movie
40% of the above comments are about kids watching the movie and it having “bad scenes.”
100% of the above comments are about the blue guy’s penis.

Pwned.

• kat says:

Why would somebody take their kid to an R rated movie?

• ab says:

Many bad parents do this, presumably because they feel that leaving their precious snowflake at home with a baby sitter will damage his mental health.

• NixonAgnew says:

I was taken to many R rated movies as a child and I came out just fine. But then again, my parents knew that it was R-rated for a reason. They explained, like reasonable parents should 1) where babies came from, 2) that violence is bad, and fake violence should not be imitated, 3) that if I threw a temper tantrum or cried in the movie, I would be spanked like wild demon spawn should be.

There’s a difference between bad parents and parents who take their kids to R rated movies. Sometimes the groups overlap, but don’t mistake them as being synonymous.

• jluve82 says:

Agreed. My siblings and I watch many R-rated super hero movies because my Mom and Dad loved them and it was more expensive to hire a sitter for 4 kids than to just take them to the movies. All things were explained clearly before we set foot one in the theater. My parents were great.

• Bob says:

You’re absolutely right. Genius. By the way the penis did improve the quality of the movie.

• kb says:

no, not ‘pwned.’

2. Dash says:

According to this guy, 40% + 40% + 100% = 100% >.>

3. tibi says:

actually, it fails to mention the arguments about how it was somehow Lucy Lawless that played Laurie Jupiter

4. Mark Kilfoil says:

Banana Hammock!

5. FBR says:

I think a venn diagram would’ve been more appropriate in the case of the overlap, but this still definitely gets its message across, and I find the obsession with the blue guy’s penis annoying. Great, he’s got a penis and it’s hanging out.

6. Kraas says:

Here’s why he’s naked: he feels disconnected from humanity. He’s apart from them now. Why wear clothes? It’s pointless to him. He isn’t naked just to be naked. The parents complaining about their kids seeing it probably thought the movie was going to be something like the link (it’s hilarious but I’m sure everyone has seen it).

7. JM says:

Great movie. Simply amazing!

8. Eddy says:

Mmmm. Dr. Manhattan totally made that movie for me. I mean. Mrower.

• Betsyville says:

Congrats on being the first to refer to “The Blue Guy” by his actual name. Dr. Manhattan or you could get fancy and call him Jon Osterman.

9. papajon says:

A bit of a graph design fail, but I get the penis I mean point.

10. Becky says:

Ok, R doesn’t mean REALLY GREAT. It means Restricted. If you’re dumb enough to take your kid to see this movie you need a smack upside your head. There is no valid reason to take your kid to a movie like this. The violence alone is bad, but the sex just adds to the rating. Don’t be an idiot. The only people seeing this movie should be 18+

Deal with it.

• Nat says:

Excuse me.

R-Rated movies are 17+.

And I don’t think kids should be seeing this movie, but at least teens can.

11. Kit says:

I think that if you’re mature enough to read the book and actually understand it, you’re mature enough to see the movie. I’m fifteen, and saw it the day it came out. Watchmen has been one of my favorite books for some time. Obviously there are some disturbing things in the movie, and it really annoys me that there were about a dozen five year olds running around the theater.

12. Hell Hath No Fury says:

The real question here is
DID HE HAVE A SEVERE CASE OF BLUEBALLS?! And why wasn’t it cured after he humped that chick?

13. terminaadventurer says:

Thanks for the comments everybody! I know the percentage thing is messed up, but I really didn’t know how I could measure the Watchmen topics. I just used percentages on a whim. I’m glad everybody still got the point.

14. tiddles says:

FAIL

15. herr sexyhosen says:

40 + 40 + 100 = 100?

wut?

16. ai says:

Also, a lot of people discussed the fact that the ending was changed. This doesn’t fit into any of the graph’s categories, since it’s a separate issue from the movie’s quality. The Hitler remix didn’t even mention Dr. Manhattan’s penis.

17. Annemarie says:

It was quite sad. I went to see it on Saturday night after it came out and was sickened by the number of people who GIGGLED every single time Dr. Manhattan’s penis was on screen. I was quite appalled at the complete immaturity at the entire thing by grown adults, especially since I was much younger than they were (they were in their thirties, probably, and I’ll be 20 on Saturday).

Yay for censorship and its effects.

18. idisagree says:

i wanted to see superheros fighting and actually be able to get into the storyline and plot, not look at closeups of blue penis 60% of the movie, practically ruined it for me, didn’t notice any immature people around me, but that would have made it all the more suck. i mean i get hes disconnected from humanity and their ways ect, but they focused on it a lil to much…

19. sabremeister says:

Fail

20. Kip says:

It was rater R in the states?!

Wow! It was like MA (mature audience) in Australia.

And yes, why did they make a penis the main bit of the movie?

21. Smartz118 says:

Seriously though, Dr. Manhattan was glowing so much you could hardly see his penis…and if that is the first thing you noticed about him, you had to be looking for it.

22. Kablamm says:

I’d rather complain about cut-off limbs or split heads than nonsexual nudity, but that may be just me.

23. kat says:

my sister went and saw it twice, the second time she counted 23 times.

24. Button says:

You forgot the “How the Hell does Rorschach’s mask works?” for all the internet retards that didn’t read the book.

25. FoobodoDind says:

Was wondering what the experts of this website think about online money making sites.
Especially where you place ads on G and Y and other search engines.

Are they legit? Scam Artists? I e-mailed them regarding a proofs and they said they were legit and
had received praise from customers. Is this legit?

Also I found one site that claims you can make money
and especially make money online.

Now, what do you think about it?
Please post your comments!

26. kruegs says:

I’m a woman, and all I could think was, I would not pass up the opportunity for a threesome with 2 guys. The best part it’s not even cheating. I also like to read BL so I would probably make him make out with himself while I watch. I <3 boys with other boys! LOL

27. kruegs says:

As for parents taking kids to this movie. It’s rated R. Derrrrrrrrr. Boys have them, girls will learn of them. Big deal. Fight repression, society will be healthier.

28. Button says:

… You do know that some of the songs came directly from the book right? Even All Along the Watchtower.

29. graphala says:

I’m 11, and me and my mom might go see Zombieland

30. Juan Curro says:

VERYYYYY GOOD…..

31. leah says:

rorschach scares me. kind of. but hes kinda awesome too. and jeez, my dad took me to see it, and he’s a great parent. although he did mention that he thought the R rating was for violence, not… well… you know.
