Actually, I believe the graph itself was stolen from the people who studied the relationship between a dropped slice of toast’s likelihood of landing butter-side down, and the price per square yard of the carpet. It look just like this.

And that’s still “only” A $65 shirt.

The big difference? One needs ironing if you let it sit in the dryer for 4 hours after permanent press, one doesn’t. Both work the exact same way if you take them out of the dryer promptly.

If I spend $125 on a shirt, It damn well better be a custom fit silk shirt with gold threads woven in.

I agree that the graph is boring, but your comment is a winner! Who is deciding what goes on the front page these days anyway? Most of the time when I vote on the new submissions, both here and on PK, it’ll give me maybe five total – if any at all – to vote on before saying that’s all there is. There is just no way there are that few submissions.

If you own a shirt that expensive, something should not only be spilled on you, but make sure it’s meat grease, transmission fluid, bleach, battery acid, etc. Wearing a monetary investment shows a disgusting need to be told how important or awesome you are, and that usualy means…you’re not.
