Roach Coach?
It’s a truck that comes around with food you can buy such as soups, sandwiches, even hot meals of the day. They’re mostly at industrial type places where cafeterias aren’t readily available or too far away for workers to go within their breaks.

At the construction sites I think I get a ‘special caucasian’ price for my burrito. They just name a price, as high as they can imagine. I just pay it, like $5 for a $2 plate, then I let them know I speak Spanish. Wow, do they go quiet.
The first one is derogatory of the Deaf. Score 1 for insensitivity.

i’m 50% deaf in both ears, and it doesn’t bother me.
All it says is people who are completley deaf can’t hear.
That’s like saying a black person has dark skin, or hot dog vendors sell hot dogs. It’s just facts of life.
Why does it say “[Y-axis}” up the Y-axis? One wonders…

This is exactly why I re-arranged my office so that my computer screen is not facing the door. Now that I have a few seconds to minimize windows before someone invites themselves into my office, my startle reflex has greatly diminished.
Win. Also, ctrl+shift+delete in firefox is great for when you have snoopy bosses.
Just being the tool that points out the wrong use of the word “hear” in the y-axis on top. Though… when the better half wants to “talk” I am thusly required to be both ‘super-hear’ and ‘super-here’… or else!
